I love this place for lunch, but I decided to go for breakfast, i dont like mushrooms/tomatoes and in exchange they told me to pick anything I liked so I choose an extra bit of meat. It is rare for places to ask this! Happy with the service! Well run cafe.

Me and my daughter went here for a spot of lunch and waited over 20 mins to be served then waited another 10mins for food (which is reasonable) then the waitress brought the drinks and accidentally spilt a full glass of juice around me. My whole outfit was soaked and contents of my bad were also dripping. I understand it was an accident but it would of been nice if I had got an apology from a senior member of staff.

Staff were really friendly, and the food was excellent. There was a little bit of wait though, as it was busy.

I was recommended this place as I was told the traybakes were delicious. Finding it was very difficult, Sat Nav leads you into a housing estate. It is in fact behind a clothing shop on a one-way system street. The cafe is beautifully decorated and there were plenty of people in a queue to be seated, so I got a Takeaway. The staff were polite and friendly.A latte was about £3 and traybakes around £2.3. Which may sound expensive but they are large and could easily be cut and shared between 2 people. The selection of traybakes are excellient as was the choice of scones. For taste I recommend the peanut bar traybake . A great base and good balance of caramel and peanuts. The brownies were dry and hard, as they are more expensive than traybakes , that's a pass.Hats off to your caramel squares though, not many places can make a good one. They used good chocolate on top.Lemon and coconut traybake was also great, once again hitting a good balance. There was a new combination of a oat base traybake with white choclate and raspberry on top. Interesting, not a fan but can see its appeal to others. The coffee was great, smooth, and stayed hot in the takeaway cup.Would I be back? Yes, as its not far from the train station.

Gorgeous cafe, beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. My 74 year old Dad said it was the best fry he's had in years so that in itself is the highest of praise. Please visit ASAP, the tray bakes are outrageously good.
