Fantastic food and atmosphere in this place. We were a party of 6 out to celebrate my dads birthday. We were hoping for flavour packed fresh food and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Went out for a family meal here, all of us really enjoyed our dinners. Portion sizes were good, some of the starters were huge! Food was all well cooked and seasoned, had plenty of flavour without being overly spicy. Would definitely eat here again! They don't sell alcohol, but you can bring your own, for a small corkage fee.

Back again tonight in this most excellent of restaurants for an evening meal wit a very close friend. Booking the table was so easy on Facebook Messenger and the photos of the food on Carthago's Facebook page only encourage hunger, they are son beautiful. At this point it would be normal in any review to tell you, dear reader, what I and my friend had, but there is no point as every single dish in this restaurant is remarkable. I've worked my way through 99% of the menu and can attest to all the dishes being so flavoursome, visually stunning and cooked to perfection, and the crockery ? Oh Boy the crockery and plates are so gorgeous. Go to Carthago, order anything, you wont be disappointed. A huge THANK YOU to the two girls who make this fantastic place happen Highly recommended 12/10 !!!

Lovely place. Lots to like. Starters, dips, bread all excellent. Chicken fingers and (surprisingly) the Brie highlights from starters for me. Mains were good, very generous with amount of seafood and lamb on our respective dishes. Could maybe do with a touch more seasoning and finesse but satisfactory.Overall an excellent experience and decent value for the amount of food.Server (chef's daughter I believe) was excellent also, warm, friendly and informative.BYOB too which is a bonus (hint:if drinking beer, bring large bottles as corkage is per bottle)Kid-friendliness: Can do kids portions.

The better half and me had a great time in Cathargo on Sat evening (01.07.23). The food was tasty, the ambience really nice and also nice to bring your own selected bottle of vino with it being a BYO. Had a good laugh with lady owner. If you want a wee piece of Tunisia in Moira give it a shout. Recommend.

Amazing meal last night!From the delicious calamari starter, the wonderful fresh homemade flatbread and hummus and our mains of the fresh sea bass panee and my husbands lamb dish done in the tagine, great portion sizes, wonderful service from the young lady looking after us last night and very fair prices - we had a really nice evening out ...So glad to see that they do takeaway as well - this wonderful little restaurant with the ever changing fresh menu selection has moved to the #1 spot for takeaway mealsThank you for a wonderful dining experience!Vegetarian options: Several vegan options availableParking: Lots of street parking available close byWheelchair accessibility: Ramp outside right to their doorDietary restrictions: Great options for every diet and palate

Amazing restaurant with great service, tasty and authentic Mediterranean food, great portion sizes and fair prices! We had the calamari starter which was so fresh and flavourful, the fresh flatbread with hummus - also excellent, and my husband had the lamb shank done in the tagine and I had the sea bass panee - both beautifully done, very fresh and the best African food I have had outside of Morocco ... We will be back for sure and will also use their takeaway service too ... Thank you for a wonderful evening out!
