Called in here Yesterday as I had parked Outside and was Quite hungry, went in and took a seat, staff attended to me as soon as my bum hit the seat ... I had a quick look at the Menu, seemed like there was a good selection but I had my mind on a Fry-Up which I was impressed with as there was a choice between 3 ... I went for the middle option : soda bread, potato bread, wheaten, sausage, bacon, egg, veg roll and a tin of coke for £8.20 and what a feed it was, definitely hit the spot and the Staff were so friendly ... Will definitely be Back

Honestly, this place is so beyond needing modernising, it's decades stuck in the past. The decor is depressing and cold.\\nIt was bought over 3 or 4 years ago by a Muslim family who completely took pork off the menu. Utterly gobsmacked!! This restaurant is a town icon in all honesty, it lost a heck of a lot of service over that move. Especially considering it really does make the most amazing Fry's in the entire town. Especially Ulster Fry's and 12 piece Fry's.\\nThanks to one very dedicated customer he convinced the owners to bring back pork. Which ofc they did as they had 3 woeful years financially.\\nI will never understand how people like that can just come along and decide for all the entire community who have lived in this country their entire lives that they can no longer eat pork because it's against the immigrant's religion.\\nI'm going to be honest, I totally shunned the place until pork was brought back in.\\nYou can't have an Ulster Fry or ANY Fry without pork sausages and bacon!\\nBeing serious though, best Fry's around. The Chef has been working there for as long as I can remember and I grew up going to Rompoles ( It will always be known as Rompoles).

Myself and 2 others dined here one person to run the store food was terrible stew was old and served with stale bread fish bites and chips where frozen/oven cooked and could do better at home fry was also bad owner doesn't seem to care much about health and safety her staff customers or quality of food being put out to the customer we won't be back unless dramatic changes are made

Low prices for amazing food I'd gladly pay twice the price for! Especially recommend the Mediterranean dishes and the fresh made desserts. Dead friendly and accommodating staff too :)
