Beautiful Sunday lunch - great staff, great food and a great vibe - and not a fortune!

Excellent, good food, top presentation and not to forget the friendly staff.

Great menu choice, and superb people and personalities serving.A few issues along the way though, white wine 2nd bottle not put in a cooler, had to ask twice before it got chilled, the portions of veg for 4 looked the same size as if for 2 people ?The overall speed of service was exceptionally slow, we sat down at approx. 14.35 without a break, we finished eating at 17.20, so almost 3 hours for 3 courses, with wine. Will think twice before returning, especially at this price point and expectation. As I said at the beginning, it's the great people that make this place.

NEWSFLASH! Wine and Brine is still the best restaurant in NI by a country mile. I've been about 10 times now and it still impresses me every time.

One of our favourite restaurants. The food is outstanding and the staff are always very welcoming and most helpful. I would totally recommend this

Wonderful meal here tonight. Food was superb and very reasonably priced. Our waitress, Zara, was helpful and very friendly! Would highly recommend a meal here.

My partner and I came here for my Birthday meal. We loved every second of the experience. The drink selection was delicious, the decor was beautiful and the food was spot on! A special mention to our server, Zara, who was welcoming, knowledgeable on the Menu and a great conversation. From reccommending dishes to describing them, i couldnt believe it when she said she had only been there a matter of weeks. A real credit to your team! And hard to find a fault in the overall experience ?

Perhaps like others we’d seen this place mentioned in the press recently as “the best Sunday lunch in Northern Ireland”. Well, I’m sorry to say that is very, very far from being true and I can only assume the chef at Ox who made this claim to The Times is a friend of the owners. First courses in the £40 set menu were underwhelming - my “scorched” cured mackerel with taco turned out to be 4 tiny pieces of fish plonked on top of soggy slices of cucumber in a sort of half cocked ceviche, with a side of a small crisp filled with mackerel mayonnaise. Liam Neeson looming behind us on the wall, gave one of his characteristic sneers. Then to the mains. This place is Michelin rated, The Times raved about it , a cracking Sunday roast should be a walk in the park for these guys - right? Wrong 2 slices of very thinly sliced sirloin arrive atop a blob of mash along with a burnt Yorkshire pudding and a drizzle of forgettable gravy. The waiter then pops down a tiny ramekin with 2 roast potatoes and a splodge of carrot and swede mash. I presume this is for one person. It is not - this is it for the table. The portion size is one roast potato each. I look at the walls and the grin seems to have left the ever cheery face of Christine Bleakley who is inexplicably staring down at us. Still - at least my one spud will be a knockout at this - NI’s number one Sunday lunch spot? Alas - it had, it would appear, been thrown raw into a deep fat fryer. No fluffy inside and deep gold crispy crunchy outside to be had at this establishment where parboiling is clearly passé. The interior was rock hard and exterior had a tough plastic like texture. Desserts were decent enough, service was pleasant, bill was eye watering for what was deeply, deeply average food and some of the worst treatment of a spud I’ve seen this side of the Irish Sea.

Another wonderful lunch at Wine and Brine, great seasonal menu, nice ambience and fantastic value for money. As it was a family celebration it was also enjoyable to make use of the extensive wine list! Thanks to Davina and the

It was my birthday treat and we had the taster menu. I've had 3 previous taster menus - Belfast, Reykjavik and Manchester. In comparison, this one was extremely disappointing - the menu was, weak, unimaginative, pretentious and main ingredients in two of the 'main courses' were bland and masked by sauces. The drinks accompaniment were extra and not offered on every course. If it hadn't been a birthday treat, I would certainly have spoken up on the night. Poor show

Probably the best value fine dining experience in the whole of Northern Ireland. At £30 for 3 courses with it's lunch and early evening menu, there is no skimping on getting bang for your buck!My only criticism would be that I always treat myself to a hors d'oeuvre and, whilst the menu gets changed the hors d'oeuvre don't!

Had options from the set menu at a working dinner. The salmon starter was terrific and presented daintily with sesame seed tuile pieces. My lamb main was cooked perfectly and the sauce and sides complimented the dish exceptionally. Lemon meringue for dessert rounded off a great meal. I was driving, so couldn't sample their drinks list, except for their post-dessert coffee, which was tasty. Their upstairs suite catered to the work bit of the evening well. Service very attentive.Parking: Moira demesne parking close by and the best bet in late evening.

The food certainly had a nice flavour and flair, I had the sirloin of beef with a hard / burnt Yorkshire pudding which was disappointing in an otherwise lovely meal. The service felt slow but the restaurant had a very relaxed vibe so maybe that’s part of the appeal. We were out in the extended back bit and it lacked atmosphere and staff coverage. Didn’t get my coffee after my dessert even after being there as a family of 3 for 2hrs 15 minutes.
