Bay of bengal…. Wow . The place is fascinating . I love coming here with my friends and eating good Indian food . The services and prices are incredible and I totally recommend this place

There’s a couple of very good things about this restaurant, the food and the price. A lot cheaper than other Indian restaurants with the same high quality food.However, the drawback is management / waiting times. I’ve been twice (take-away) and ordered online on their “food hub” portal. This portal gives a collection time of approx 30 mins after you order but I’ve realised that by no means is when your food is ready. Twice now I have had to wait for c. 30 / 40 mins after they said my food is ready. Not good enough, either change the booking system or advise of a correct time.In summary, great food but be prepared to wait!

The most ignorant person, avoid at all cost - give your hard earned cash for another business within the community. I ordered a large takeaway via app, for a birthday, and collection time given (was about 50mins from order to collection time). Arrive at collection time for the order, to be told by a very ignorant man that it was not collection time and it was one our later, I showed him the app timings and he said it was untrue!! And it would be 40minutes. 35minutes later I received my order. Arrived home from there to one main dish, 1 side and 2 rice missing and one random dish we didn’t order. Phoned and explained to the girl, she said she would put me onto manager (the very ignorant man). He told me it was a lie (why would I ruin my family event) With a lot of telling I wanted what I paid for, he said it would be ready in 10 (meanwhile my family had to eat and share what was there). When I arrived at restaurant he wasn’t for giving me food, I asked for the value refunded and that was a rude no also, finally gave me food. Such a rude unorganised business that I will not, and make sure my friends and family know not to buy from. I’m all for supporting local businesses, but with this attitude I will be support another local business and certainly not this rude business, Food was usually good from here but was more sauce that mean, one dish have about three chunks of chicken. AVOID THIS VENUE

Absolutely lovely food and service. Owned and run by Hakim you will be a familiar face to anyone who has eaten in The Bokara and Ganges in the past. Highly recommend.

Starters were great, unfortunately the mains not so good. Chicken was cooked well so that it was wonderfully moist, unfortunately flavour had a 'hole' in it.Sadly, there are no soft furnishings nor curtains. Consequently the noise from other customers fills the room such that you can hardly hear others in your group. This means raising one's voice which just adds to the cacophony!It was busy when we went which resulted in an extremely long wait between starters and mains, about an HOUR!Very friendly staff but because of the other aspects we'll think twice before going again, which is a shame. I hope the management take note of this review and try to uplift the restaurant.

After me came.back 45 mi s for his order couldn't believe we were atill waiting owner wasnt interested just moan on about the noise from the parade which was going onFoods great but will never be back utter contempt for customers

Ordered food for collection, came at advised time and was made to wait 40 minutes in the restaurant after the collection time. I had people in the car waiting for me to return. Food wasn't great either. Although vegetable samosa were nice.

We had an impromptu and rare meal out last night, partly prompted by the 2 courses for £15 deal. All the food was lovely especially the chicken chat- the bread was so soft and the Lamb biryani was delicious. The naan was freshly made still pan hot when it arrived. The staff (owner) was very friendly and chatty but not in your face! A really enjoyable evening out.
