Can't rate this lovely family restaurant more highly. Cosy top lounge bar to relax, order predinner drinks and chose from the menu. Excellent food, always a huge welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Fish dish of the Day is always a favourite. Niall will always try his best to give us a great family dining experience. Our Mum's favourite place to eat dinner , even at 94 !

The first time we had visited Aldo’s and it was superb in every way. Lovely starters of arancini and pate. Both lovely. Now, how many times have you had lovely starters followed by a disappointment? NO! The main courses were superb. Monkfish curry was perfect but the Cajun hake was the star of the show, simply because of the quality of the fish. Both servers were friendly and helpful. Aldo’s is obviously popular with local patrons but it is good enough to travel to Ardglass just to go there

Been coming here for years. Niall and the team do an amazing job. The hake was so fresh and tasty and local. Loved everything we had including the legendary prawn cocktail. You will not find a better restaurant anywhere.

We went for a meal in Aldos this evening and it was delicious. Our meals, sides and desserts were very tasty and the service and atmosphere was warm and friendly.

Would highly recommend this restaurant - the food was excellent and the service was just as good. We could not have been more pleased - the owner is very involved with every aspect and has a lot of contact with the customers. Small family owned restaurant with fabulous food.

Sadly did not go as found it very difficult to make a booking. Apparently only currently open Friday and Saturday . Phoned a few times during open hours but no response. Sent a txt to number too in the hope for a response but that also failed. Would love to know how to make a booking as heard only good things about this restaurant. ?
