“On 07/09/24, My sister & I called into Murphys Bar & Restaurant in Downpatrick for dinner. When we arrived, a member of staff, showed us to our table & showed us the menu. We also ordered a drink each & then gave the waiter our order. The service was very quick & we didn't have to wait for long till we were seated. Murphys Bar & Restaurant is in Market Street in Downpatrick & is easy to find. It's well worth a visit if you're out for the day in Downpatrick & are thinking of getting some lunch or dinner. “A busy spot and got seated straight away. Good selection on the menu and the service was quick. Food is great and there’s very healthy portions. I struggled to finish but I did and made room for a dessert. Good value for money too. There’s seating downstairs and upstairs and considering how busy it was the food came out quick. By the time I was leaving there was a queue out the door waiting for tables.

“First time here. Easy to find space to park on road side, no wheelchair access though. We dined upstairs, stairs are not good for elderly. Food is well presented and good size of portion,ideal prices. I asked for medium done sirloin but it's more on the well done side and a bit tough. Friendly staff and good service, well done ?”

Very prompt service from Stephen and my party of 3 were well looked after. All impressed by food ordered.

“Sadly scone came with no butter, so had to ask for it. It in turn was traight from fridge and was rock hard so trying to butter a buckle scone proved to be impossivle.
But coffee was nice.”

I am well aware the food isnt sitting ages and the order of using the app and how it comes through. I always get the estimated delivery time on the email, but my point being, its normally way later that that time given on the email when it does arrive. As for calling, I have called everytime that we've waited 20-30mins after advised delivery time & then be told it's on its was on it's way.
In response to the chips etc, I can't help that's how they often arrive. When we collect it from the shop it's lovely.

Food is mostly good, but unfortunetly the delivery is always late (90+mins from ordering) meaning the chips etc are soggy, greasy and unpleasant.”
