Well what can I say apart from, Jonny can make a salad ! And I mean he can really make a salad. Absolutely unreal is the best way to describe it. If you haven’t been to the daily grind yet for a salad or a sandwich, all I can say is sort your life out and get in there you’re seriously missing out !

Brilliant lunch menu. We have been many times and continue to order different things each time. Lovely big salads, and great coffee. The atmosphere is happy and cosy. You feel valued as a customer and the waiting staff are very attentive. Brilliant value too, we will definitely be back.

Just had the most fantastic Toasted Club Sandwich in The Daily Grind Cafe in Downpatrick - and great coffee too!!! Warm welcoming atmosphere with lovely staff. A must visit if you are in the vicinity.

Great stop for tea, coffee, snacks as well as more substantial dishes and daily 'specials'. Friendly staff on both sides of the counter. Long time since I was asked if I would like a coffee 'top up'! Eating area accessed via staircase entrance at street level. First time visit but will definitely be back.

Best cafe in Northern Ireland… and probably the worldThe most incredible coffee shop, the owner and rest of the staff were so helpful and made our experience brilliant. The food was also delicious and such a great choice. We’ll be back!

Fantastic little spot. Amazing menu, extremely vegetarian friendly, very large portions and the servers/owner are lovely as well and treat you in a much more personable manner than you'd expect.Would definitely return.
