I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Dufferin Pub. The ambiance was enhanced by mystically touching music, the food was exceptional, and the Guinness was top-notch. A perfect blend of heart music, delicious cuisine, and lots of drinks made my visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Was taken to the Dufferin Arms for lunch last Saturday by some great friends. On a cold and damp December day it was lovely to come into a wood fire warming the room. The welcome was just as warm and welcoming with courteous, attentive friendly staff. The team gave you time to settle and choose then took the order. Their return with the food a short while later, this place isn’t a fast food place but a cooked with love venue. The meals came, a mixture of vegetarian and meat based and every dish was presented with style on the plate. The food all round was superb, I personally had a game pie special, the meat was cooked perfectly and the veg was firm, not crunchy but tasty. My friends had the vegetarian option and it looked, and they said tasted superb. Sometimes the vegetarian option is somewhat bland but every plate went back empty, well except for the cutlery ?. The desserts were equal to the mains.

I took 7 friends from England to the Dufferin on Friday night and we had a brilliant time. One of the most atmospheric pubs in NI, the service was first class, the food was perfect higher end pub grub, and we all had a great night. Thanks Austin, Cath and team.

This place was everything I hoped it would be. I didn’t try the food, but really enjoyed a pint and the atmosphere. There was live music (on a Saturday) and I absolutely loved listening. I loved how so many people seemed to know each other. This is what I expected an Irish pub to be like and I was not disappointed!!! Hope I get to return while I’m in town!Parking: There is a public lot on the street behind the restaurant.

The pea and asparagus risotto was delicious. Clubbed it with Guinness. The order was a bit late, but the food served was hot and yummy.

Great pub with good quality food (great portions), beers and service to boot! Felt very homely in there and a good range of food options with friendly staff also.

On a long awaiting visit to family in Killyleagh, called into the DUFF for a late night drink, we were greeted at the door by the owner, I said that I had not been at the Duff in 30 years, he shouted us a free drink as we were 'regulars', just such an amazing feeling, so we stayed and had 2 more. Met some great people and just chatted.. Just what you think an Irish pub should be.. Amazing. Went back the next night with 8 others for a family meal.. Great great service, great food and just loved the night. Thank you so very very much

Delicious pub food in big portions (especially kids meal and the LARGE fish and chips!), great pint of Guinness, lots of local traditional character and friendly staff who welcomed us without a booking. Castle and waterside nearby to walk it off after

Just a quick one … EXCELLENT. Me and the fiancée were down this way and called in without a booking … no problem, seated immediately. Ordered one starter and two mains. Very, very good. Haven’t been here a quite some time and have eaten in other highly rated places in the town. This is number 1 in my opinion. Staff were excellent, food top drawer and I will be back soon. 10/10.

Food was very nice: both of us went for something straightforward (lasagne and fish/chips). Mrs K loved the lasagne. I went for a large fish, which came in three pieces. Yum. All washed down with the best pint of Guinness I had all week. :) What this pub has in spades is atmosphere! The decor includes hundreds of framed pictures, posters and similar. There is "marital advice" which would get me into trouble if I tried to live it. (I'll let the readers find that for themselves.) There is a ferret on the wall. This is what you need from a good pub. Good food and walls that are better than telly.
