Chicken tikka kebab and chicken pakora kebab - both beautiful. Naan bread was well done and not too doughy, salad was fresh, chicken was perfect and the sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. I would definitely return for a takeaway to bengal spice, the service was very friendly and it was quick.

The worst Indian food I have ever tried in my whole life. What we got does not even classify as Indian food at all!!!We ordered butter chicken which came in a brown stew that tasted EXTREMELY SWEET!!! We also got chicken Bryani and the order came with yellow rice and small chicken pieces inside. No Bryani spices, it didn’t taste nor smell like Bryani at all. We paid 30£ for food that was extremely disappointing. I don’t recommend this “indian” spot at all ????

So disappointed in this place, they must have changed staff because the food is nowhere as good as it was last year. Decor is dire. Got a takeaway also and the order was mixed up, although 2 return visits sorted it! Not good enough.

Walked in to a waiter that looked confused as to why we were there. Table for two please - seated by the door in an empty restaurant. The owner came to take our drinks only order. I explained we were against the clock and would like to order all at once. He firmly said the process would be done in stages. I politely explained we had tickets to the cinema and we knew what we wanted to order. He then walked to another table to take their order/ we got up, walked out and will never be back. I will actively discourage people from visiting this greasy, badly decorated, cheap date establishment that does not deserve the support of the community!

This place stays as one of my favourites for years. Probably the only good sit in Indian restaurant in this area. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. The food here is very tasty, especially their chicken tikka. They also server Chinese in this restaurant so it adds a nice bit of variety to the available dishes on the menu.Parking: Free Street parking spaces just outside the front door

Me and my girlfriend stopped here on our way home around 7 PM after a day in Belfast (we live in Co. Sligo). The first two places we looked at were either shut down or closed for the evening. We were set on Indian so our maps brought us here.\\n\\nThe place is actually pretty hidden. You have to know it's there. If we didn't have Google Maps, I think we would've walked right past it.\\n\\nWe were seated at a nice two person table beside a space heater and had food in front of us within 20 minutes. The quality of the food was sublime and left me wanting more. When we were done the bill came to around £40 for a korma, garlic curry, 2 boiled rices and two portions of naan bread. One of the more expensive Indian restaurants I've dined at, but not the most expensive.\\n\\nI would definitely visit here again next time I'm leaving Belfast!

Parallel parking can be tight. Fire station near restaurant reduces parking availability.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is a bit tight but I'd say it's manageable with assistance.

Amazing food! My husband ordered the vegetable pathia, and I sneaked some too. It was honestly the most flavourful dinner I've ever had!The service is always quick and the staff are so very friendly and helpful.Vegetarian options: I'm vegetarian, and there's plenty of delicious options to choose from.

Will never order from here again. Order was wrong, called and politely told them, they said they would send it out in 15 mins. At this point, no problem, mistakes happen. After 25 mins, I called back as it hadn’t arrived yet to be told very abruptly that I didn’t order what I thought I had and that was that. Messed around and spoken to rudely, disgusted at the whole service.

If you’re ordering a takeaway , the food is decent. If you’re sitting in I would highly recommend avoiding. The Customer service used to be brilliant, we used to go frequently for a sit in meal because the service and food was brilliant, They even finished each meal off with a complimentary shot. But in recent years the service has gone down hill.

usually bengal spice is quite good but tonight i found a hair in my food it looked as if it was hit from a man’s beard. after me pointing it out the waiter bring the food back out and said where is the hair after moving the food to cover it then i had to proceed to look through the food to point it out only then he brought me out another one, also prices in bengal spice have gone way too high i payed £3 for literally 2 popadoms not good bengal spice i would expect better :(
