“My husband, daughter, and I stopped by Deli on the Green for lunch yesterday, and we had a great experience. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the staff took our order promptly. Our food arrived shortly after ordering, which was a nice touch.

My husband ordered the salty chili chicken, which came with a generous portion and a refreshing Asian-style salad underneath. He really enjoyed it but couldn’t finish it because the portion was so big! I had the slow-cooked beef lasagna, which was hearty, comforting, and full of flavor — it had that lovely home-cooked feel. That said, it might feel a bit heavy for some, but I personally loved it and didn’t need another bite for the rest of the day. Our daughter had the fish and chips, and she was very happy with her meal.

The only small note was that the chips on all three plates felt slightly undercooked — a few more minutes in the fryer would have made them crispier.

The total bill came to £50, which included a Peroni Zero, a soda, and an apple juice. We found the service attentive and friendly throughout, and it’s definitely a great spot for food in the area. I’d be interested to try some of their other dishes next time!”
