We went out of our way to visit here again and it did not disappoint! Staff are so friendly and full of chat. Food was, as usual tasty, plentiful and so reasonable. Even though they were super busy on Saturday, you were made feel so welcome and nothing was no bother. We would definitely keep going out of our way to visit this place. Highly recommend!!

Arrived on Easter Tuesday with no pre booking. It was immediately obvious they were booked out and they were not going to leave us without a bite to eat. We were ushered into another room and with smiling faces our orders for food and drinks were taken. The food was delicious, served piping hot and the friendly professional staff were very attentive. I highly recommend the cabbage and bacon it was a real treat.

First time I have ever left a review but felt I must today. Have visited here three or four times previously, as local and food has always been lovely - today however very disappointing! Ordered usual avocado toast with bacon - previously presented on sourdough with smashed avocado, roasted vine tomatoes, cheese and chilli peanut dressing. Apparently menu changed a few weeks ago today it was presented on sourdough with chunks of avocado poached eggs, and some sort of hot chilli sauce on top. Didn't look at fine detail on menu so probably my own fault. When I enquired re change and explained I wasn't keen on eggs the waitress did bring a plate and took the two eggs away and she did offer to change order but as I liked the rest of selection on plate thought it would be OK - it really wasn't - bread was soggy from avocado (would have been better lightly toasted) and chilli sauce tasted like a cheaper option - just left most of breakfast on plate. It was my friend's first visit as I had recommended copper kettle. When paying I was asked if everything OK I said not really and explained why - another waitress said I wasn't the first to give this feedback about the avocado toast option and it had already been reported back to chef - however there was no offer to reduce bill since the two eggs went back to the kitchen and they could see that I had left a considerable amount on plate uneaten. I paid the full amount but unfortunately I don't think I will be rushing back anytime soon.

So my partner, child and I went out for Sunday dinner, we got soup for starter which was a bowl of water with veg no flavour at all,the roll was hard, the staff hadn't a clue how to serve the food out was just a mess the gravy running all over distroyed myself while walking back to my table but maybe get a bit bigger plates. Cost over £65 and we never got deserts. The staff should of offered us the 2 courses for like 20 something but obviously not trained well as the should of offered us the deal not full prices for the dishes. Which weren't that nice/tasty just left feeling disappointed and I won't be returning. Sorry

A family run restaurant where you will always get a warm welcome. Four of us visited on Friday night for the steak night special that is exceptional value at £50 per couple for 2 courses, sides, sauces and a bottle of wine. It was busy and we had to wait a short time for a table, we were very well looked after when we were seated and didn’t mind the short wait. The steak was the best that I’ve had in a long time and will certainly be returning in the near future.

My Husband and I went to Quinns for Friday Steak night, I never go for a Steak but it was cooked to perfection and my Husband had Ribs and he would highly recommened them. In fact the whole experience was great from starter to dessert! We had a truly wonderful meal. After all the lock down restrictions it was a welcome evening. Thank s to all the lovely Staff, and not forgetting Paudge & Carmel.
