We went as a family to Santa Sunday expecting it to be rushed and for Santa to just sit for a photo. We were wrong !! Santa met the kids at the door - not arranged but lucky for them! They took his hands and walked in with him to our table. The interaction was great and he kept coming over to them throughout the dinner which made the whole experience very relaxing so we could all sit down and enjoy our dinners!!! Staff were excellent and no pressure on having to eat quickly and get out which can be the case at this time of year. Would highly recommend - we will be back!

Exceptional service, our residents from Dungannon Care Home really enjoyed having the place to themselves and all dietary requirements catered for plus the staff joining in with the disco entertainment afterwards. Thank you for a fantastic day.

Food and service was second to none. The presentation was first class and the portion sizes were massive. One of the nicest meals out myself and my family have had. Over all, amazing grub, great atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff and an extremely reasonably priced menu. The Gables Team are A star. We will be back.

A big thank you to Niall today. I called in today to get a take away dinner for my nephew as we were going shopping and he was getting hungry. We were not having dinner as it was too early for us. He told me if I wanted to take my nephew inside to feed him his dinner I was more than welcome. Great customer service....

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped for a meal and were welcome with such warmth and happiness even tho we didn't have a reservation, the staff and food as well as the atmosphere of the Gables Restaurant will make us come back.Thank you .

Called into Gables restaurant yesterday for dinner. Arrived at 4 at which time dinner menu had just started. We ordered chicken supreme x 2 one with chips one dauphinoise potatoes one with mushroom sauce one with peppered sauce. After 45 mins our main meal arrived with 2 x chips & 2 x peppered sauce on the side. I told the waitress it was wrong she made some excuse they messed up in the kitchen. I asked her to change it to our previous order & after 10 mins by which time our main meal was stone cold they still got it wrong. I asked them to take away the food & to speak to the manager. He was rude unapologetic & made no effort to make amends. In fact when we were leaving he said "have a nice evening" in a very sarcastic tone. Totally unprofessional manner by him & the waitress & will definitely not be returning in future ?

It was a long time since I was in the Gables. It was always good but I think it's got even better. Three Sunday lunches were great. For those not so nimble it was nice to have the food served at table.

Good food. Nice portion sizes. Service was poor and extremely slow, people that arrived at the same time as us were leaving before we got fed after 50mins. We reckon they forgot about our order, not even an apology.

We were there on a Sunday for a wee bite to eat. We arrived there at 1:30 and took ATLEAST 1 hr and 30 minutes for our main course to arrive. There was flys and wasps flying all around the place and in the kitchen. We started eating and the chicken tasted like a walrus sat on it. I also asked for Fanta and they gave us orange juice.. The staff were VERY disrespectful. I recommend not going cause I know I won’t. ??

Called on a Saturday evening for quick bite - ordered the sea bass - cooked perfectly - fish was moist, skin crispy with plenty of sides - important for someone that likes a proper meal - will definitely be back soon. Service was excellent
