Service was excellent and the food we ordered was beyond our expectations. The food ordered was served about 20 minutes from placing our order , the reason for the time to service was very clear , everything was clearly prepared after ordering and nothing was precooked and heated when our order was placed. Their menu was ample for our needs and costs were very competitive compared to other similar places.

A good wee bar in EGLINTON, doesn't serve food on a Monday. Friendly barman.

We had the BEST night here during the week. Photos online don't do this place justice. Walked in the door and the warmth of the fire greets you. We were lucky to get a booth and it was amazing. The service from Cara was outstanding, the food was out of this world and value was beyond compare. My friends and I are really picky but absolutely loved the Happy Landing and I'm sure we will be "landing" in a few times more. We highly recommend the curry and the chicken escalope with bacon and cheese. Mash potato and garlics are amazing sides also. Great selection of wine, we loved the piano and the sauvignon NZ. The only downside was we chose a Wednesday night instead of a weekend as we wanted to stay longer! Thank you guys for your hospitality, our new fav place 'local' !! See you all soon !

Firstly food was unbelievable always great however the service was awful, 2 tables sitting and still waiting an hour for food! When food arrived the FOH set piping hot sauce infront of a 12 month old within a split second the child was scolded with the sauce then FOH was asked for a jug of water to warm a baby's bottle however they just put BOILING water in to the bottle containing breast milk therefor making the bottle non usable. very disappointed with the ill trained staff more training is necessary when hiring 16-18 year olds!

Have been here on several occasions now for family parties, as well as lunch and dinner. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Very cosy atmosphere, especially when the fire is lit. Food is fab and staff are very attentive. Highly recommended.

Had Sunday carvery with my family last week, food was great but a few things could be said for the chefs, we approached the carvery to be met by Kerry who quickly apologised and told us she would get the chefs after waiting another few minutes they finally arrived but had failed to bring their people skills with them as we felt quite rushed and like we were a bother to them for them to serve us. Service was outstanding and I couldn’t say better about the servers. Kerry checked with us a few times after this as I’m sure she noticed how we felt and she was great as was who I believe to be the manager, very friendly floor staff, chefs should take a leaf from their book. Not the most enjoyable experience but we will be back thanks to the people who served us.

Amazing place, food was brilliant and the service was exactly what you look for, fast, easy and most importantly interactive. All staff were helpful and everyone around was smiling and enjoying their food and music. The bar was lovely to relax and have a drink while watching the football. Will definitely be coming again for sure!

We went today on a sunday, place wasn’t that busy and we had been seated immediately as we entered. However we sat for 20 minutes with menus and no one came near us to even take a drink order. The man that seated us told us he’d give us a minute to look and he’d be back however he didnt. A family came 10 minutes after us and we’re seated and order taken before we even got looked at. The waitress passed us approximately 8 times whilst dealing with this family however we sat and sat and eventually we had to get up and leave as it was a disgrace we waited too long for as much as a drink. We very much would have liked to have ate here but couldnt have waited much longer.

Only go if you’ve plenty of time to spare . Service is really really slow ! One seems to be one girl doing everything the rest and standing on their phones or chatting.such a shame !

One of the best restaurants in Northern Ireland. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Looking forward to coming back sometime!

Good food and service on an early Friday evening. Bit of a mixup with the order - they brought the mains before the starters but in the main all was good.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access an on site parking

A must-visit and just a short drive from the city.Food is of the highest quality and the service is to match.Access is great and wheelchair assessable with a good-sized car park to the rear of the building.Great selection of food from a snack to a full 3-course meal.A nice selection of desserts are also available to finish off the meal if desired.A very relaxed atmosphere adds to the experience as you don't feel rushed into eating.A good-sized beer garden is available for outside dining when the weather permits. Will definitely be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to both the bar and restaurant and plenty of space to move around the restaurant.
