Lucky to get a table at 28@ The Hollow , last minute booking. Welcoming staff , as usual , and buzzing, happy atmosphere on arrival. Only really wanted one course, but the menu is too tempting so opted for the full dinner menu. To start, we had the scallops and the parfait. Both delicious and beautiful presentation. Then we had the cod and the fillet steak. Everything cooked to perfection and presented with wonderful sauces and vegetables. The balance of flavours textures, just amazing. The wine list is very fairly priced , and changes quite regularly, so there is always something new and interesting to try. So fortunate to have a restaurant of this calibre in Enniskillen. Already booked lunch before Christmas and really looking forward to our next meal. Thank you so much to Glen, Zara, and the team @ 28.

Dined here with my husband whilst on a weekend break to Enniskillen. We opted for the five course dinner menu. I started with seared scallops and my husband chose the chicken and ham hock. For mains we both had slow roast cheek of beef which was served with fluffy mashed potato and selection of vegetables. As for dessert, I had lemon posset and my husband had the cheese selection. Both main and dessert courses were excellent with the beef cheek melt in the mouth tender, whilst my lemon posset dessert course was light and refreshing. The cheese course had a varied selection including a blue cheese, and creamy smoked cheddar accompanied by grapes and crackers. I should add that the meal commenced with home baked bread and butter and we also had a refreshing palate cleanser between starter and main course. All of this was accompanied by a French Sauvignon Blanc. The restaurant had a quietly professional atmosphere without being staid or too formal and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. We would have absolutely no hesitation in returning to 27 at The Hollow on any future visit to Enniskilen.

What a delightful experience! Planning on a simple evening’s dinner after a day of hiking, I was encouraged by the publican upstairs to try this more upscale venue. He was right, everything was spot on. I went ala carte as the set menu offered was a larger meal than I wanted. The seared scallops with a poached apple and black pudding was a novel pairing that really worked - tastes melded perfectly and the visual appeal was first rate. For my main course, I went with a chicken breast, but no simple chicken breast was this - flavorful meat, excellent preparation, and again the visual appeal was noteworthy. A local IPA complemented both my starter and main course. Service was friendly but not intrusive. The decor is understated, classy, and is appropriate for the lower levels of an older building. Clientele represented all ages.
Myself and my husband had such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing. Everything was so beautiful and such a beautiful place. The staff were very good and very attentive. I would highly recommend this place and definitely will be back. My husband is still raving on about the food today. Thankyou 28 the Hollow ?

This was the best meal we had in 2023 without doubt. Outstanding and outside belfast too. Not everyone wants to go to the city to eat! Very fine dining without the pompous. Lovely waiting staff and a really nice surrounding. But the food was the star. We've decided this will be our special night bolthole. Thank you for a lovely evening front and back of house!

Celebrated my mothers 65th birthday today and were served with Summer tasting menu. One word - AMAZING! Highest quality dishes, beautiful presentation with an even better taste. Chef(s) did an incredible job to put this all together. Fabulous food. Even though there was only Summer tasting menu served, chef catered for our kids and prepared food for them separately. Waiting staff were very professional and made us feel incredibly comfortable. Would definitely come again even if its a 2 hour drive from Dublin. Thank you for this 5 stars experience!Mikhail

We had an amazing tasting night on friday well done to chef glen and team , all the courses were well sized bursting with flavour oh my the beef short rib was something else!! with well matched wines glen himself appeared to explain a course during the evening . Looking forward to the next tasting night already !
