Chips where excellent, cheese burger not great, it was edible but bap was a bit on the soggy side . Staff at counter where friendly and efficient. Young man that served our table was courteous and friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Sorry we didn't get his name.

Passing by on way home and craved a chippy meal. Found this and sit in open. Ordered two battered sausages with beans and tea, they had no bread. Paid about £6.80 fair enough.Came in reasonable time. Large carton of beans. Tea pot. Sausages large enough but cooked too quickly in too hot oil and batter hard, a free handful of chips thrown in. The lady at till also served and was very efficient. I will try again if in area. Seems busy. Quirte clean.Kid-friendliness: Seemed ok as kids upstairs.Parking: Parking on one side at Kennys but hard to get out and across into the Belfast bound lane.

On my way back from Sligo and had a craving for battered sausages, anf beans with tea bread and butter. They had no bread alas. Lady took order and serving was efficient and friendly. Sausage batter a bit hard from over hot oil cooking. Almost a tin of beans and a dozen free chips. Large pot of tea. Total amount is £6.80 a fair price. Chips cooked but a bit white. Will try again if about.
Food not the best. Had southern fried chicken and it was very soggy. Not get it again. Don't think I'll get anything in there again. Waiting time even after ringing in an order takes far too long.

Visited here tonight as a regular customer. Wasn't overly busy yet strangely ordering over the phone seems pointless as they don't tend to cook it until you arrive. Anyway that's not a major deal. But the staff on multiple occasions can be rude.Tonight when collecting my order the girl giving me the food was very impolite. I thanked her to which I received silence. Another customer commented on her bad manners aswell. A simple thank you back is basic manners. I've also been in the premises before and stood waiting to be served whilst 3 female members of staff stood and talked poorly of another girl who works there (Amber is the girl they talked about) . Even though they seen me and even after they served me they continued their conversation about the girl.Now one of the biggest problems is the gravy... Especially if you order late in the evening. Most of the time when we get home with a tub of gravy we have to pop it in the saucepan to thin it out as its basically jelly. Tonight we thought we got it good as it was thin already... Sad to say though it was tasteless. Very disappointing.

Don't get me wrong, i normally love Kennys and have always went.However £10 for a 2pc southern fried fillet with chips is a wee bit excessive. I know there's a cost of living crisis but... really? Fair enough the likes of fish has gotten expensive these days which i can understand. Having looked at a similar meal in other takeaways in town, it's definitely the most expensive here.It's a shame because Kennys was always one of my favourites but i genuinely can't justify coming here when there's other takeaways doing the exact same meal for way cheaper.

Food is for the most part delicious but sometimes late at night the sauce is a little more like jelly. Few items have been forgotten from orders at times but resolved on the next visit. Reasonably priced.
