If there is one thing I always tell myself in Ireland never judge a pub by its cover. Never be nervous walking in as you will invariably made to feel welcome right away. This is a prime example of you dont know what to expect when you walk in the front door. A log fire burning, a friendly barman, a nice crowd of locals and a traditional session going strong in the back bar. Just a perfect little place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

One of the best local pub experience’s ever. After a great day at The Faldo golf course at Lough Erne we headed to Old Pals bar in Derrygonnelly. The hospitality Norman showed us was second to none. Not to mention his hand crafted Inish Mac Saint beer which he brews himself.The beer has a unique refreshing taste. I’m not usually a beer drinker but I found myself drinking Big Dog beer all night while playing pool with the very friendly,welcoming locals. Great craic.Highly recommend Old Pals bar & the beer.I will be back & thanks again to Norman for looking after our party so well,including one friend who had one beer to many . Lol!Geoff ???

Nice pints of beer but although the staff is alright and some of the locals are alright but there’s some people that like to do dodgy stuff (selling suspicious items) the d word mostly in the pub either from the front or the back of the pub when either having a smoke or going to the toilet myself and my friends wasn’t sure about posting this review but just for the sake of itIt had to be said but only for the the two stars you know yourself why is that but other than that hopefully something can be done about it sooner rather than later
