We called for lunch and we're greeted by two lovely servers for whom nothing was too much trouble, all adorned with smiles galore. It was lovely. The starter was a bit disappointing, packet soup and an over-microwaved (and tiny) bread roll. My main was turkey and ham, the standard catering supply pack, which I half expected, but the veg was nice. Buttered carrots and nice mash, though it was all a little dry. My friends' mislabelled gluten free battered cod was miniscule but tasty and it was nice to see home-made puddings, though one of my friends said there was a funny taste off the cheesecake. Coffees followed and although the servers were lovely, it was all very slow with long delays between courses. All in all, 3 out of 5 seems fine, mainly because it's probably a slightly more expensive cafe.

I booked for set dinner menu for 13 people and was quoted £20.50 person and after we were seated we were given menus we made our selection and enjoyed our food thinking this was what included in the above priceAfter the bill was paid I checked the amount and discovered we were charged from the separate coarse priced menu which was much higher than the above priceI brought this extra charge to their attention but they refused to refund stating that we ordered from the menu that was given to usAt no time were given the opportunity to order from the set price dinner menuThis worked out at nearly £4 more per person than the set dinner price of £20.50I have discovered that this is the second time this happened to a family member
