Called in there this afternoon for lunch/breakfast. Already cooked items just reheated bacon and sausages were not fit to eat, container used to reheat beans had already previous beans stuck to it pancakes did not taste or look like pancakes. Cook/cheft was eating the food she was chopping.Very slow service for items that just needed to be reheated. Will not be back.

We were downstairs at the tables at the front . We were talking to staff member about the food and my mother asked about toilet and I went up. I have never came across someone so horrible and rude in my life. The owner is purely vile and does not give them a right to talk to anyone like that. Due to their poor signage it's impossible to notice it was 2 different premises in the one building. They screamed what am I doing , spoken to like a dog to the point that the staff member behind her was even mouthing sorry behind her back. I have been in hospitality management my whole life and I have never came across this. I'm disabled and could easily have shown her my card but wouldn't get anywhere , she even went what am I going to do about it ?? Absolute nutter . Its not hard to say sorry the toilets are closed , not be horrible the way she was . She doesn't know what possibly could be going through someone's head or what they are going through in general. I wouldn't eat in it anyway as my aunt always said how awful it is , but yea she won't be in business much longer with her poor attitude and below average food and coffee and it's always dead, last thing lisburn needed was another coffee shop, not too bright. Don't waste your time or money , the staff downstairs at Jeffers knew exactly who I was talking about so she is obviously toxic .

Food was dead on but £12 for two bacon, two sausage, two egg and one round of toast & a coffee with no potato and soda bread is a bit ridiculous. There’s much better cafe’s in Lisburn were you can almost get two fry’s for that price.

The cafe is clean and bright. The menu wide and varied. We sat down, placed our order and waited and waited. Half an hour later my husband went up to see if I could have my soup and sandwich as I had an appointment elsewhere. This lady appeared with the bowl of soup, straight out of the microwave I might add! She had a stern look on her face and starting shouting that this was not a fast food restaurant!!! When I said I already knew that but she didn’t need to be so rude she carried on mouthing off. She was so ignorant and arrogant that we both felt like leaving without eating but we have better breeding and manners. This lady has neither. She is rude, ignorant and arrogant and we will definitely not be back.

Called in today with my 2 year old daughter. As soon as wee arrived, my daughter had to use the toilet. I asked the member of staff could we use the toilet, and that we’d be ordering food after. The member of staff told me that I’d need to order first. I said please, she was bursting to go and couldn’t hold (typical toddler). I was then told I had to take a seat, order from the menu, and then we could use the bathroom. At this stage I was losing patience and said “my daughter is going to have an accident. She needs to use the bathroom now, not after we’ve been seated, looked at the menu and ordered”. The waitress took her time to ponder this, then eventually let us use the bathroom. At this stage my daughter was getting distressed. We took a seat and placed our order. This took 30mins to arrive even though the restaurant wasn’t even one quarter full, and it was simple lunch items that were ordered. I will not be back due to lack of service and the ignorance of staff towards a two year old child, and her lack of trust that we were going to use the bathroom and stay for lunch afterwards.

We had breakfast here and it was the worst ever. Tiny eggs over cooked, white non-toasted toast, tough cremated bacon and cold tea. Staff on the floor were not wearing masks . We thought this was part of Jeffers Bakery and it definitely isn’t . Just awful food.

I called in today for the first time since it moved (around two years ago). It used to be a few doors below its new position - on the ground floor - but was much smaller. It's much larger now - but is on the first floor of this building - upstairs, above Jeffers' Bakery; no lift and therefore not suitable for customers with limited mobility or in wheelchairs. Decor clean and fresh - appropriate for this type of family restaurant. It still has the same menu and is "table service" - as before. Service was fairly good although I did have to wait around 10 minutes to be served (yet the restaurant was only about a quarter full). The waitress was attentive, personable and efficient; she helped me with the restaurant's wi-fi password - as I had keyed-in the correct one - but my phone kept saying "incorrect password"! However - it worked. I had a mini-fry and this was cooked just as I liked it - and was well presented and tasty. I was in the restaurant for around 45 minutes - yet I wasn't asked if I needed my pot of tea "warmed up"/refreshed. Tables were cleared quickly and hygiene appeared to be very good. Seating was mainly formal but comfortable. A view of the Lisburn Linen Centre & Museum and the square below can be had from the front windows. A quiet, spacious and restful environment. (no loud background music). Recommended - but fairly average.
