Top notch fish supper ! Portions are huge. my only complaint was my can of coke was packed into my takeaway and put under the heat light.... the can was legit warm by time I left the takeaway and it condensed up agenst one of the bits of fish and left it soggy, and quite cold. Was still nice... but slightly disappointing because the rest was lovely!

Totally disappointed in a firm favourite. Ordered 2 bags of chips and chicken chicken tenders to feed the holiday hungry kids. Chips were paler than dead mens fingers and soggier than a wet dish cloth. Chicken tenders were floppier than 1973 flipflops and we now have a car full of hungry kids and out of pocket parents. Staff couldn't have been nicer and offered to replace the meal only we are too far away and food was binned. You can do better Brendan's step it up, crisp it up and save us parents.

Can I ask a question please?Why has my fish (part of a fish supper) got no flavor other than the cooking oil?The portion is good but there is no flavour.Driven 10 miles for a good fish supper .You can usually count on a decent fish supper but not today . What happened?Extremely disappointed.

I was really shocked at the amount of grease on the food, I've never seen anything like it before. It was like it had been dipped into cool oil and then served up. The layers of wrapping and the bottom of the outer bag were saturated when we got home. We ended up with very soggy, wet fish and chips that stuck to the paper. Once we dried everything off in kitchen roll and popped them in the air fryer for 5 mins the food tasted good. I had a chicken fillet burger that wasn't greasy at all, it was really lovely. I just got a new car a few weeks ago so thankfully I set the food on the floor or I would've been annoyed getting all that grease on the seat.The staff seem very nice and the place looks clean and tidy.I would eat here again because the positives outweigh the negatives.

In the past I would have said this was the best chippy in town but my last 3 meals in a row from here were terrible , I’ll not be back .

This is one of the busiest in the waterside reason being the foods great.Can be a wee bit slow phone ahead save the wait fish and chips are as good as it gets.Also their chicken box some eating enjoy.
