Lovely food. Good service but the music is too loud and not suitable for a relaxed dining experience, in my opinion??

It was a very busy restaurant for mid week dining, they had a promotion running when we visited. Without a promotion running I'm not sure how I could justify paying the very high prices for food. The food was nice, ok portion size. The service was a little too attentive as soon as last bite/fork down plate was taken away.

Chose this restaurant for lunch on our drive from Belfast to Donegal based on reviews and it was a definite home-run!. The ambiance is quirky with colorful velvet seats and colorful decor. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was excellent. Our party of four had two of the House Club Sandwiches which were delightful, the chicken was tender, the egg was perfectly cooked, the bread was nicely toasted. The Honey & Chili Chicken was cooked perfectly, tender chicken with just the right amount of sauce and the vegetable were cooked well and very tasty with buttery goodness!. The home-run for me was the Chicken Carbonara, the Tagliatelle Pasta was cooked to perfection, just the right al dente consistency, the chicken was thinly sliced and the sauce was light and delicious. The selections were very reasonable priced for the ample amount of food.

Wonderful restaurant with beautifully cooked dishes that have great flavor. The menu is clearly marked regarding allergens. Our waitress was very knowledgeable regarding our gluten free order. They have a separate frier for all things gluten free. I had the Chicken Bang Bang (pictured) and the Honey & Chilli Chicken as an appetizer, both were wonderful!

A great spot for a bite to eat. Quality food. A lot on the menu. Glad that we had booked as it was very busy on a Friday night. It is a little expensive and the music is a bit on the loud side. However, the excellent food and service made up for these things. Highly recommended and I look forward to returning soon!

This was as good a meal as we have had in the last 7+ weeks in Ireland and NI. The seabass and Chicken Tagliatelle were both very good as was the garlic bread with cheese. My wife loved her Up the Foyle in a Bubble cocktail and it is worth taking a picture of it when you go to take your first drink. It is a busy place but they get you in fast. The only disappointing thing was both of my Guinness were warm. Drinks do take a while to come to your table, but the food trumps any shortcomings.

Oh wow! Why didn't I know about Fitzroy's in all the years I have been visiting beautiful Derry City? Our meal was superb. Excellent selection of dishes across Starters,Mains, Sides and Desserts. Very generous portions and very tasty food. The Baked Alaska dessert was incredibly good (why do more restaurants not do this retro dessert? #bringbackbakedalaska!) Already plotting my return ???Parking: Best place to park is Foyleside shopping centre. We parked at Ebrington Square which is free and walked across Peace Bridge - about 15-20 min walk to restaurant but a very pleasant walk.

Very busy restaurant but service was fantastic. Food was very good, I had the lamb shank and my partner went for 50/50 steak and chicken. Had a few cocktails which were also good. We will definitely be back when next up in the city.

We went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening late August it was busy but the 20 minute wait was worth it. Cocktails were fantastic I highly recommend the “ up the Foyle in a bubble “. Food was great too, spicy beef tagliatelle and honey chilli chicken mmmmmm! Apple crumble to finish was delightful. I will be back, worth advance booking! Really well priced, great value.

Really tasty food and very generous portions. Really enjoyed my meal and will be back. Had the rhubarb and custard martini which was just ok, will try a different cocktail next time. Honey chilli chicken starter was delicious and the duck Main was perfect. Really yummy Caesar salad also as a side . Can’t wait to go back The 30% off thing is a bit annoying as the menu is overpriced to allow for the 30% off, bringing the food to the same price as most Derry places- it’s a bit pointless
