We popped in for a quick bite to eat on the way back from Belfast and will definitely be back. It was quiet when we visited, hence the lower rating for atmosphere, but it was still lovely. The service was quick and friendly, and best of all the food was DELICIOUS.

We had a beautiful meal followed by dessert. Food was amazing as was the service. The waiter greeted us with a smile and was very attentive. From the minute we walked through the door, the staff were welcoming and could not have been more attentive. Lovely setting, will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is printed on paper with a wordsearch and pictures to colour in. The minute we sat down the waiter brought over crayons and the menu.

Kid-friendliness: Crayons and puzzles given out with the menus ?

Since my last visit to this place it had turned itself into a great stop over spot. Great food and atmosphere. The first time I rated it very low now wow wow 100% for me.Parking: Whilst it can be a busy place the turn over of vehicles going is good and worthwhile waiting for a spotKid-friendliness: On my visit I didn't have any with me but there were many happy families enjoying food.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wide entrances and mostly good level surfaces from carpark to interior

We ordered starters to be shared, they came out along with our main meals which then meant our mains were getting cold. Food was average.Staff were friendly and inside is nice and cosy.Won't be back for food.

We were a family group reuniting from all over Ireland and looking forward to a nice evening together on 29th of Dec. From arrival we were made to feel unwelcome. We had pre-ordered, as requested, and within minutes of sitting the food was 'thrown' in front of us. No drinks order was taken until we requested it. Kids were served first and when my sister asked for ketchup she was abruptly told that she could wait until all meals were brought out. Not once did staff ask if we needed anything, or how everything was. The food was just okay, not their normal standard and portions were very small, so extra sides were needed. I ordered a sauce and was told that we couldn't ask for anything else as it was confusing the chef! No dessert menus were offered and when requested, two menus were given to share between 24 people. Twenty minutes later I asked if we could order dessert and the response was an eye roll and a sigh. I asked if there was a problem and the waitress said that we should have ordered them sooner. I explained that we had been waiting twenty minutes for someone to take our order. She then proceeded to say that we could order dessert but that they needed the table back by 7pm. I told her that we were not aware of this and she said well you should have been! (We had a text telling us we had a two hour slot from 5:30pm, which we were fine with). We reluctantly ordered it, but to be honest we just wanted to get out of there. Trying to order Ice-cream for the kids was so difficult as the waitress stated that only one flavour could be order, even though there were a number of choices! One of the desserts had a completely bluemoulded piece of fruit on the side. When this was brought to the waitresses attention the response was 'oh sh*t'. She took it and walked away without apology. Sometimes I read reviews like this and think that maybe the reviewer is the problem, but hand on heart, we were a quiet group with well behaved children. The reason I am putting the review on here is because I tried to complain to the manager on the night. She was very defensive and not responsive to what I was saying, ushering me out as she spoke. She told me that she was sorry, but that they like to get big groups out quickly and that all the staff were stressed because of Christmas. Some of the younger staff were plesant but most of them were downright rude. If they can't manage groups they should not take group bookings. We left feeling stressed, disheartened and very disrespected. Needless to say none of us will ever be back. Speaking to other people over the last few days, it seems that we are not the only people to have experienced this disgraceful service.

We went here with a large group of people. They were very busy but still accommodated us. Very friendly staff. Our lunch was lovely. Good to meet up with friends especially when the place adds to the

Myself and my daughter ate here on Sat 23rd Dec we both had the chicken stack dishes...Both of us were extremely sick afterwards and are only recovering now....I rang up the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation that both of us had eaten the chicken and it was clearly off! She was most unhelpful and rude and wouldn't accept anything I was trying to tell her insisting that I needed to provide a stool sample!I just wanted to put this up to warn people not to eat here as they are clearly reheating the food ! I don't want anyone else to go through the experience we've had over Xmas ...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This restaurant and pub is an absolute gem!We booked my daughters 21st birthday party here recently in their Hayshed function room. Everything was wonderful, the function room, the food, the staff and atmosphere!

We arrived at 7.30pm and was told the kitchen was closed from one member of staff but another one said we had half hour, I ordered chicken ceasear salad and my husband had the burger. We were then made to feel uncomfortable as the staff started to clean up around us getting ready to close at 8pm, this was our first time in but will definitely not be going back and I honestly feel the staff wouldn't care the worst experience I have had in any restaurant

Great menu and value for money. The seafood chowder is heavenly. Coffee is very good. Staff are really friendly and well trained. Will definitely return.
