Nearly £9 for the smallest fry in my life ( All day breakfast on menu ) Disappointed as It was a good while since my last visit and was looking forward to a good lunch again. TBH you only get a 1/4 piece of soda & potato bread ( small fry size ) I thought they made a mistake and asked but was told this is what you get. Food was good and no complaints anywhere else but come on owner give proper portions for the price you charge please thank you !

Great spot for a quick breakfast or a hearty lunch. Often get breakfast baps for staff and they go down a treat. Very friendly staff and always a bit of craic to be had

One of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in Ireland. Parked outside and went in with a view to a lunch meal. Others came and got served, then got their food. We sat for over fifteen minutes with staff members passing regularly and totally ignoring us... Not even courteous enough to bring a menu while we waited.. got up and walked out to find somewhere more welcome.

Lovely little café. Very polite and friends staff. Food was delicious , I had the sheebeen burger. Great selection on the menu, along with special treats made daily.. reasonable pricing also. Spotless café.

Heading to Monaghan to see relations on New Years Eve morning and planned in a wee stop off in Caledon, haven’t been here in a couple of years. Seat at the window, ordered the small breakfast and poached eggs and toast and all in all it was great. The food was really nice and the atmosphere felt very homely.. Recommend it…
Stopped here yesterday, first time visit.Quirky place. Proper cafe food, with a menu suitable for children and adults. Main food options were delicious. Good portion sizes and prices. Various dessert options and hot custard was a delight. Nice coffee. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Clean toilet facility.Kid-friendliness: Inclusive menu options for children

Anytime we are coming this way we stop at the love Cafe Rose , we had that chance again today , food was superb as always , service both friendly and prompt it did not disappoint , hope we are back this way soon ?
