We were staying on site in the air bnb and when we arrived we had some drinks to settle us in. The place was amazing. They had a lovely cosy fire in the corner whilst we enjoyed a few quiet ones.
The next morning we had breakfast here. My wife and daughter had the breakfast bap whilst I had the eggs on sourdough with sausage and bacon. Very tasty.
The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful.
We will definitely be returning as a family.
Kid-friendliness: It's on a farm / zoo and has a playground beside it. What more could kids ask for?
The food was very tasty but awaiting time ?: over 1 hour for a starters (kid meal we requested to serve with starters and our daughter get her plate as last one) then main course 45 min after starters.
Kid-friendliness: Great playground and petting farm on site
Excellent restaurant. Food + staff 1st class, I will definitely go back, lovely place ? Fathers day treat.
Parking: Plenty of parking .
Food and service both great ?
Great spot, excellent food and friendly service! Thank you!
I worked in the area with a team of 3 for nearly a month and The Hungry Goat was our go to place for dinner. The food is great, the property is beautiful, and the service is friendly and fast. I highly recommend you visit and see the wildlife park on site!Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. I saw many parents with small ones playing at the playground on property.
Great food and service, lovely cosy bar downstairs
Wonderful food. Excellent staff. Every single item on the menu that we ordered was fantastic. Staff recommendations didn’t miss. Looking for great food with a family friendly atmosphere this is the place ?? also an added bonus with an on-site farm and play park, looking forward to our next visit.Parking: Free parking on site
First class service and great food very friendly staff.

We attended the easter event at Dyan mill last year and ate in the Hungry Goat after and we were so impressed with the food and staff. They had a 3 course set meal for adults for £28 and 3 course set for kids at £14. Upon speaking to the manager at how our 5 kids all aged between 1 and 6 wouldn't eat much, she agreed to let us have a main course at £7 each for them. She was so accommodating and we couldn't wait to go back this year as food was also fab! This year we immediately recognised the manager again and as they had the same set menu for the kids we spoke to her again about just getting a main for them. But she said she couldn't do that and that we would have to pay £14 for 2 goujons and some chips. I had said she accommodated us the previous year and that's why we came back and she said well this is a different year and a different menu and was very ignorant. She said we were the first to ask this. Not the same friendly woman from the previous year. It was exactly the same menu. She stormed off. She eventually came back and said she could do one course again for £7. We then had our dinner but to be honest they lost us at the cheeky exchange and we had made a decision there and then we wouldn't be back again. For the remainder of the service she was awkwardly overly pleasant and I wished the exchange didn't happen previously as we were made to feel like liars. I personally would have preferred 2 courses but there was no option for this either. There should be a choice of 1,2 or 3 courses for kids and adults like all other places and it shouldn't be made into a big issue if someone doesn't want 3. All mains were hot and beautiful but the sticky toffee pudding was so disappointing as it was dry and didn't taste good but we felt like we had to take it as we were paying for it. Unfortunately we will not be returning to future easter events here and they have lost a party of 9 people. £300 in total spent at the event hunt and food in our party and made to feel unwelcome with the horrible attitude. Such a pity as the previous year was so positive!
Lovely setting. Great food. Great service.
Excellent service and good people ?
We've had an absolutely fantastic evening at the hungry goat. Our food was delicious and the service was first class! The best way to start the Christmas holidays!
Very disappointed food was cold staff where pleasant but not available when needed. I would not recommend the hungry goat ?
