Before going to stay at The Aul Shop, Cabra I had checked out places to eat. Greenans was literally across the road. We booked for dinner on the Friday night. They have an excellent selection of food. My husband and I decided, as it was a steakhouse to go for an Open steak sandwich and our daughter had the southern fried chicken burger. Our daughter and I asked for no salad/dressing. Our food came exactly as requested. The large steak was on garlic bread and covered in cheese. The food was delicious and came at a reasonable price. I don't normally have dessert but the Apple Crumble was also excellent. As we were so delighted we went back on Saturday morning at 10am for breakfast. Again it was very tasty and well priced. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. Even locals made us feel welcome.

We were here today for a christening and we cannot fault a thing. Food was amazing, portions were huge and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Such a friendly, welcoming place. The girl who took care of the christening and the bills was an absolute gem. She was so helpful and god love her she had a stressful time sorting things for us all but never once stopped smiling and made sure everything was done in the highest standards. Stopped off here after a day at the Ulster folk park.The food was delicious and our dietary requirements were well taken care of.The steak was amazing! Service was great as well.The waffle dessert was excellent too.We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area.The only reason we're not giving the full 5 stars is because one of the younger waitresses was not as nice as the other waitresses.

Fantastic day yesterday at Greenans Steakhouse. We were there to celebrate Holy Communion. The place was fully booked. The food was fantastic as were the staff. Nothing was a problem. A disco was put on for the kids (and some parents) which they really enjoyed. Thank you so much for a wonderful day. Highly recommended Greenans for any occasion!

We Recently held our Sons First Holy Communion and no better Venue to Celebrate it!! From Start to Finish we can never fault this fabulous Bar & Restaurant!! Beautiful and Reasonable food and can never be faulted. Friendly Staff and Child friendly with a fantastic Play Area for all ages. You won't be disappointed!!

We held our daughters 18th birthday party here over the weekend and it was PERFECT ? the staff couldn’t do enough from guidance on room decorations, Noel’s Balloon Arch, party food and the amazing fun bar staff who enjoyed the fun ! Great night had by all - Thank You
