I ordered battered sausage and chips, just now and I was given 2 sausage and not even 15 chips. I asked for some more but was told that that was the portion. I’m never going back I could not care less how nice it is, that’s absolutely taking the biscuit

First time ordering from here since they rebranded to McCanns from Silverfinns and its clear they still offer the best fish and chip in town, having long surpasses Pat Prices who's own serving just isn't what it used to be. A decent fish and chips is hard to come by in Newry these days, so it's great to have a local chipper you can rely on for a good bit of cod.The fish is super fresh and the batter is thin and bubbly, and the chips are home made. What more do you want. Definitely recommend.

I recently used their online ordering system but meant to place the order for Newcastle branch and ordered and paid online by mistake from Newry. The Newry store couldn't have been more helpful and phoned my order through and transferred to Newcastle. Great customer service. Thank you very much.
