Hi, had a return visit to the Rostrevor Inn and once again had a great stay. Couldn't get our normal room as late booking but room as always spotless and well presented. Breakfast was very good and we had booked an evening meal with it which also was good. Recommend this Inn highly for a great place to stay right in the heart of the lovely village of Rostrevor.

The place is suitabile for short business trips as well, because it offers single rooms as well which was hard to find for us in this area. The staff was particularly friendly, helpful and was so kind to adjust our booking when we needed to.

Myself and my wife stayed overnight in the Rostrevor Inn during the local literary festival and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were friendly and good humoured. The one difficulty is that there is no dedicated parking available, but we found a spot directly opposite. We had dinner in the Inn and the food was gorgeous, with ample portions. The full Irish breakfast next Moring was simply delicious. The Inn is a modest establishment but what it provides is of the highest quality.

Just to say that Rostrevor Inn is not the place it used to be....portions very small sitting up on a bed of mash....disappointed like never before Chips were of the frozen variety and not acceptable for a top class restaurant....wouldn't even get frozen in the local chippy

Very mixed feelings about this little place. On arrival very friendly member of staff checked me in .Our room was at the very top of the house , I am not sure that its accessible to Those with a disability .The room was clean and bright and beds where comfortable. Tea coffee and water was provided. When I tried to take a shower the thermostat was broken and honestly the water would have scalded ! I reported this to a member of staff and the manager came to report he couldn't fix the problem , there was no offer of a change of room , so no shower at all. We are in the restaurant on Sat nite the service and food where very good and we enjoyed starters and main course. It should be noted that the accommodation is not in the same building as the restaurant and bar but accessed by a separate door in the street . Breakfast on Sunday morning was a disappointment, we sat down and where offerred tea and coffee and then waited for 50 full mins on our Cooked breakfast which would be excessive even on a busy morning but there was around three other tables to be catered for .when breakfast arrived there was no apology for the delay .Food was fine and hot when we did receive it.

Had a fabulous meal this evening. The food was gorgeous we had the Rostrevor burger and the pasta. Also have to mention the staff they were so friendly and nothing was a bother to them. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

Bottle of wine reasonable at £16 but the meal was substandard. Vegan burger was borderline inedible and chips were out of a packet and the vegetarian tagliatelle was bland, swimming in oil and starter sized. Decor very pleasant.though. Will not be back. A pity, as good ambience

Meeting up with a friend, so we decided to book bed and breakfast. Room was at the top and done the job. Great selection of drinks at great prices in the bar. Ended up eating in the restaurant for days ne’er. Good solid food and good atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic. Hearty food to set you up for the day. Really enjoyed the whole stay and would certainly return.

My wife and I stayed at the Rostrevor Inn in July 2021 during the heatwave. We stayed in the attic room above the pub so it was very warm. Lovely clean room large bathroom. Would be very cost in Spring or Autumn temperature wise. We checked in at 5 with Deirdre and had dinner in the lounge that night. Good hearty food and fresh beer-Harp being in Norn Iron was what I had. £70 for two incuding 2 pints and a glass of wine I thought was reasonable value. The inn is 100m walk from a beautiful view of Carlingford Lough. The nest morning we had a decent fresh cooked breakfast. At £95 for B and B I think it was great value. Best way to book is to phone the Inn itself. Rostrevor is up there with the nicest villages in Ireland and the nearby Kilbroney Park is a great asset. If in doubt go to stay in the Inn. Highly recommended.
