This is such an interesting place. It looks like a chipper from the outside but it has a beautiful seating area at the back. It feels like being in a high end restaurant. The food has to be the best chipper food imaginable. It is not greasy at all and there are wonderful options. The milkshakes are also amazing. Can't wait to go back for the gelato!

We went here as an extended family of 5 as it was a favourite place from my dad. The food was average and what was more disappointing was the £75+ bill for 5 people which included 2 from our party having only cheesy chips. What made it worse is when we were told the coke machines were not working and that they only had bottles as an option, we were happy with this as a replacement until we were faced with the bill of £4 per bottle, I asked why these where this price as the bottles were on the take away menu at £2 and I was told it was a service charge (£2 service charge for carrying a bottle to a table is disgusting). Lovely place however this is shocking and we won’t go back.

Genoa has always been our location for dinner. From the last visit we were disappointed from the size of the fish we got served. Portion sizes are changed and not accurate to the price we paid. We will think twice before we visit again.

Pints are good and not expensive. Pub interior is quite dated and the seating in the lounge area is largely small stools and uncomfortable after a while, proper chairs would be an improvement. The beer garden area is a nicer place for a pint on a good day as it's not as dark and dingy. Overall it's not a bad spot especially if you want to watch the football.

Nice little Bar. It's more a locals pub. But the staff are friendly and warm, Not to mention this bar serves the best pint of Guinness in the town.

I call in here 2 or 3 times a year for sit in of bacon egg and chips. I always get great chips and the bacon aed egg is always good. Along with tea bread and butter i always enjoy the quality and attention by staff.. Sometimes i treat myself to their delicious home made ice cream. A long established great cafe.

Best session ever. A room full of talent, and on a Monday night too.

My husband got a fish super here tonight it cost £13 for that and two teas no milk for the tea and hair in the chips. will definitely never never go back I would never recommend it. And the length of time waiting was ridiculous.
