Ordered food for 3rd time and always the same problem. Something is missing, but it's never their fault, but the way we have placed our order. The man which I'm assuming is the owner is always very cheeky and has a problem when we complaint about our food being missing, which, btw we've paid for. Always some stupid explanation. The food is nice, but the service is horrible. They need to make sure they check it twice before it leaves the place.

Jesus christ! Food was always top class! But ordered food this evening. After an hour, phoned to see what was happening. Told it was on its way. An hour later still hasn't arrived. Couldn't beat it. Won't be back!

Loved this place for years but since it's recent refurbishment the food has gone downhill. Chicken, mushroom in oyster sauce was terrible. Chicken was slivers of pre-boiled fowl, and the sauce tasted like the water it was boiled in. Tried next the special fried rice which apart from the prawns was bland, not enough garlic or any kind of flavour/seasoning. The Char Sui element is no longer roast pork but some kind of tasteless luncheon meat! I gave the place the benefit of the doubt one last time last weekend and tried again with the Special FR. The rice looked and tasted like it had been re-fried into gravel. It went into the bin. Asian Express was my go to place for a great tasting, freshly cooked meal. Will not be back unless the former cooks come back.
BEST CHINESE in monkstownAsian Express was my favorite place its been 2 year food always great. order chicken mushrooms oyster sauce was DELICIOUS It's juicy and tender, and it tastes like a white meat should — that is, it's not incredibly flavorful, but it's also inoffensive special fried rice was yummy love the drak soy sauce on top of the meat that sink dowm to rice making it more tasteful also big portion .Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine food. It can be expensive but worth it .

Was our go to Chinese but recently its been the worst service around!! Everytime we order they mess it up and tonight 21/07/22 we ordered and they messed it up and when we rang they said a new one would be sent out so we waited an hour and when we rang and asked about it the girl on the phone said the driver is away home and i asked what about our order and she hung up on me so i called back and she then said again that the driver was away home and we are closing up that nothing could be done!!! I was so annoyed as we were told an hour before a new one would be sent out. If I could I'd rate this Chinese no stars because of the service!!! Honestly it's not worth the time or money anymore it's definitely a dive and il be looking for a new Chinese which is sad because I've been loyal to this Chinese for around 4 years!
