Had a sausage supper and a fish on a Monday night. All freshly cooked, fish batter was superbly light on perfect fish. Excellent.

Absolutely awful, fish and onion rings were soggy, chips were half cooked. Battered sausages were so greasy, felt I'll after a few bites, what a waste of money!

I love their grub but over £12.50 is too much for a fish supper...You can have a real nice meal out for similar in a pub/restaurant...just means I'll eat out more and get a nice

We order most weeks but last week & today the chips were like rocks so we binned it all & ordered from The Golden Chip, will order from there from now on.

Got a Pastie ,2 sausages ,and large a chip.Pastie was ok, sausages overcooked and slightly tainted and as for the large chip they must have been cooked and recooked time again it's a wonder we have any teeth left honestly the worst food ever and £10.85 never again (Never).

Food average served by staff who have lost the will to live and way too overpriced... Nip up road to Lynn's or East Street... Least they smile.This place has go to the dogs... Used to be known for top quality food and service
Ordered 2 chips from here today £8.70. And was horrible..Seriously think they might of been re cooked. They where so dry and bland...John Dory's use to be good. If you charge higher price then back it up with the quality

Ordered buffalo chicken kebab on chips. Bloody awful. Drowned in mayonnaise and not very many chips and what chips there were, were rubbish.

Went with grandchildren to pick up food for treat dinner. Staff are lovely and when we wanted fish we could always depend on good quality fish at John Dory's Castlereagh. However, the fish we got yesterday was appalling. My grandson and I got two small pieces of the thinness pieces of fish and there was more batter than fish which was not up to usual standard. Even our dog who loves a piece of fish wouldn't eat it. Very disappointing. Will not be buying there again. Definitely a waste of money.
