I have been a number of times to Maxemoo Cafe and I have booked a couple of their special festive events. Its a gorgeous place to have a coffee. Food is excellent and so tasty. The staff are very friendly, especially the owner who can't do enough to ensure you enjoy your visit. I will definitely continue to go to this fantastic local cafe.
In the month of May I have been twice with my father and once with a friend to Maxemoo. It is a delightful spot with real farm charm. The owner, Heather, provides a warm smiley welcome. The food is delicious. There is a large imaginatively designed open air seating area at the rear to relax in. A few minutes walk from the wonderful Millisle beach. Highly recommended - give it a try!

Popped in today for the first time with our dog. (Dogs are welcome out front and in the back garden, we didn't ask about the cafe itself as it was such a glorious day.) Staff were fabulous and offered a bowl of water for the dog straight away. The food was lovely and generous portions. Lovely big pot of tea, plenty milk and nice big mug to drink from. Suspect they would cater for any tastes. It was just a lovely welcoming place all round.
