We have been loyal customers for quite a few years even though we now expect the order will be wrong, not sure why they never get it quite right but that didn’t put us off, normally a phone call puts it right, but not tonight! We were lied to and spoken to by a very rude person, he was so rude it annoyed me so much that I got in the car and went down to the shop where again the young man continued to give me bad manners! Instead of apologising and trying to build bridges! I didn’t want more food! Just acknowledgement that our order was wrong again and an apology! He told me the owner was away but surprise surprise when I walked in there he was! To be fair they were more surprised than me! I knew he was there and they were lying! Very disappointed, we like the food but won’t use again, Customer Service is key and Purple Onion just doesn’t have it!

I ordered a delivery and originally spoke with the owner who was polite and courteous. Food was delivered within a reasonable standard delivery time but a slight mis communication over the size of the bottle of coke ordered had me ringing back to correct. Imagine my shock when the phone was then answered by a extremely rude woman who continually interrupted what I was trying to communicate and actually accused me of the person being rude. I will not ever order from here again due to this. A shame for the owner as the food was perfect and he was polite as can be. Unfortunately for him I am an online reviewer and I report honestly that I fear keeping this woman in his employment will lose him custom old or new.

Superb customer service. I couldn't order everything I wanted online, called the shop and was told I could order it all over the phone and pay contactless. That's the kind of service we like! Did miss the house sauce though! ? hopefully get it next time!

Food delivered to wrong house after waiting over an hour. Then got told it couldn't have been by a very over sensitive member of staff. Asked to speak to the manager who then said yes the driver confirmed he went to the wrong house. They offered to resend it but given how it was handled I refused it. Waited a week for the refund....another mess. Very poor service which is a shame as we always enjoyed a purple onion. Needless to say won't be using this business again.

terrible customer service, app doesnt work but takes your money called to get it sorted even offered to pay again at the door then they message you saying for the hassle they will send it up for free (which i have screen shots of) then when you call to check on the order the cheek of the woman on the phone is shocking when they hang up on you then message you on facebook further to say thats not what he meant and more cheek, customer service is clearly lacking in this business and they might want to go and learn some basic maners instead of messing customers about! Also Blocks you on facebook and accuse you of lying

Another customer has stated that they have seen flies on the food. I can back that up.
Being served raw chicken with blood it in it!!!! Close this place down. Also order a chip and a pizza and the pizza had also raw chicken on it.
We were served raw chicken and a pizza that was also stone cold.
