Really really great sushi! Delighted to have somewhere to order sushi from in Bangor!I have ordered a few times now and been delighted with the sushi each time. It's always delivered when it says with a friendly face. The ramen is ok, broth could be tastier but the meat was delicious.Sashimi is really fresh and they always give plenty wasabi and ginger.

Absolutely love this place and the staff are amazing. The food is just unreal with big portions and great value for money. We had the Sunday buffet for £22 and for starters we had the miso soup, then a wide selection of different sushi and then onto main course, I ordered the squid with noodles and it was all delicious. The live cooking show is absolutely hilarious and very interactive which is fun and the staff can't do enough for you. Great cocktails also. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back. Thanks again Natalie and Nicola xx
The takeaway sushi was delicious but the Bok Choy portion must have been a mistake as it was literally a few pieces... for almost £6.

Disappointing to have to write this review as the food was actually very tasty (however cold) it's just a shame there were issues that meant I wouldn't go back. Number one, the staff are SO slow! The teppanyaki tables were full but aside from another couple we were the only other table. 20minutes sitting without as much as a drink ordered. Eventually we ordered 2 types of sushi and one main between us. After sitting for 55minutes our first dish of 6 pieces of Nigri sushi came out. We then had another 20minute wait for the second sushi dish instead of just bringing them both at once. By this point my partner wanted to leave as he was fed up. I overheard the staff saying to the only other couple that their food was coming so I can only imagine they found it ridiculous also. The takeaways however were flying out. Our main, assorted seafood teppanyaki with noodles was again delicious but.... cold. Such a shame to serve good food cold. Secondly the restaurant was cold I hadn't brought a coat in and I was freezing which was making the wait more unbearable. 2 hours later we went straight up to counter to pay as there's no way we were waiting for a bill to be brought down. I cannot imagine how they would cope with a full restaurant. This place has the potential to be so good but unfortunately they'd need to sort out thier staffing issues and start prioritising thier actual sit in customers before I'd go back

A fantastic restaurant which has been a gift since moving here! Every time we attend the utmost care and love is poured into our meals, Teppan-Genie has become a staple or our diets. Truly a 5 star restaurant!

First time here and loved it. Sat at the grill watching the chef doing his magic! Amazing food, the restaurant have a great vibe and all staff were very friendly, the only "let down" was a bit slow service taking into consideration that there wasn't many people in.Though still would happily go back!
