A regular stop for us (St Patricks Athletic FC) on our way up to play Finn Harps or Derry City. We arrived on 16/03/2024 the food and service was excellent. Thanks to the staff for looking after us for our pre-match meal.

On the way up to Derry called in for a coffee to break the journey, the coffee was very reminiscent of the days before we knew what coffee should taste like, no words can describe other than hot the taste of it, we drank two sips before leaving it and the price for two coffees £6, we left across a floor that was very sticky, needed a good clean. Lady who served us was very nice..

Food & drinks: Went here for Sunday dinner and was told there would be a 30-minute wait as they were quite busy, we were happy with that as we didn't pre book. We were shown to our table, and a waitress came over to take our drinks order but was unable to name what beers they had on tap. However, she did send the barman up to us. As the place started to empty after 1 hour of us being there and our drinks were empty on the table still nobody came to take our food order. A family of three have arrived in, and within 10 minutes, a waiter served them. As the waiter walked off with their order, I politely called for him, stating we are still yet to be served. We were greeted by nothing more than sarcastic cheek. At this point, we should have gotten up and walked away. Sadly, we never. He took our food order and didn't acknowledge the two empty glasses on the table. I had to go out of the restaurant and go to the bar myself. The food did arrive pretty fast. The plates were oversized for the small portions with luke warm food at best. And of course, one of the orders came out wrong. During dinner, not one waiter or waitress came over to see if everything was ok for us. When the meal was finished, the empty plates sat at our table for a good 15mins until the barman walked past and cleared them up for us. We sat there for another 10 minutes until we finished our drinks while the said waiter shouted across the room, would we like desserts? We thought this was just a height of bad manners and as he had no problem mingling with the family of three since the moment they arrived. As I went to pay, there wasn't as much as an apology for the delay or a how was your meal. I'm very disappointed as we are a local couple from Omagh who have enjoyed many a meal there. It's safe to say that this has put a sour taste in our mouths and won't be back again. Very disappointing

Stopped at the Mellon Country Inn for dinner on the way home from Donegal with the kids! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so welcome. Their attentiveness was top-notch. And the food? Absolutely outstanding!Food & drinks: Outstanding chicken burger and the kids loved theirs too
Customer service was not impressive. We arrived around 6.30pm for a one night stay. On arrival we were not greeted with a warm welcome and no one informed us at check-in that the restaurant closed at 7.30pm. Very disappointing because when we went to look about eating shortly after 7.30pm that's when we actually found out that the restaurant was closed. It's nearly impossible to get food delivered there, too, so it was quite a let down with the restaurant closing so early.Hence the 3 stars for service.Bar staff were very helpful and friendly and I have no problem giving them 5 stars .Room was nice and clean.Rooms: Room was nice, spacious and clean.Food & drinks: Didn't get to try dinner as the restaurant closed at 7.30.Breakfast was very nice, although I was very surprised that the plates were cold (and i felt quite a few) they had not been warmed one iota, couldn't believe it! Food went cold very quickly because of it.
