Had the Asian beef salad as starter, which was excellent and burger for main course. Not a crumb was left. Rest of our group loved their cheesecake desserts. O'connors stout was also very good. Very pleased with our

The food here is usually on point but sometimes can disappoint (the same goes for the cocktails). Consistency needs to be improved. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is lovely; the place has so much charm! Also, the bar has a stout exclusive to The Copper Tap, which is the best I've ever tasted.

Went here Friday 27th October. Absolutely stunning food. Every bite was mouth watering. The staff are amazingly friendly. Highly recommended. Will be coming

We visited here for the first time Sunday 22nd October because we were in the area at the Gortin park. We had a booking for 4:30 and arrived around 4:25. The restaurant wasn’t too busy only a few tables occupied. The wait we endured was not acceptable. It was 5 to 5 before anyone took drink order which was a jug of blackcurrant juice, we asked for this to be made up strong - it was extremely weak we had to ask for it to be topped up. Again the wait to order and get food was very long and the restaurant was freezing cold. The food was exceptional. The soup was beautiful and the turkey and ham dinner was also very nice although more veg would be great a very small bowl between 2 people. We would have loved to have had dessert but the wait was just too long. There was adequate staff to the number of diners they were just extremely slow and no one seemed to have a role. There was no senior staff it seemed either, no one in charge. We left at 6pm with no dessert as we had a long drive home. We probably would return if the service was improved.

Was here with a group Flavour of Omagh. We went here for the main meal, we had gammon in a mustard and mushroom sauce with mash and a mixed veg, it was delicious. Staff were fantastic. Will def be back.

Phoned 4 times before answering. Told to come on. Reception was very poor/cold, very stand off-ish.`Drinks ordered, never arrived.Sunday roast arrived with no veg? When asked about, waitress said - sorry - do you want veg?Meat, gravy, mash - cold-ish. Roast pots - very hot, veg turns up half way through dinner - cold-ish, very limp.Drinks turn up towards end.Best bit was when the waitress cleaned the adjoining table and showered us (and our dinner) with whatever chemical they were cleaning the table with. We never ate after that.Weirdly, we paid without complaining but there didn't seem to be anyone available who gave a care and to be honest, we just wanted out with the least hassle.Had one negative experience before and don't know why it closed but had decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Not for me, unfortunately.

Booked 2 weeks in advance (on line) for my mums 75th birthday. A few days before, I was sent an email to confirm the booking. I confirmed and thought that was it. We turned up at the venue and the restaurant wasn't open. We went to the bar and said we had a reservation. I was told that they tried phoning me all day to cancel the reservation. This was utter manure. I received no calls from them that day. My phone was always in reception. No excuses. Ruined my Mums birthday dinner as we couldn't get in anywhere else. Don't be fooled by these cowboys. Even the barman didn't wait to speak to us, as conveniently he hid out the back. They have been advertising for new chefs all week prior on fakebook. As fake as their menu and their mystery food.

I bought two tickets to one of the Summer Sessions concerts but I got COVID the day before. I requested a refund on the event ticket app but got no response so I contacted the venue directly. I was told the lady who dealt with refunds was off, but because I bought the tickets over 30 days ago, I probably would not be eligible. This was all before the event and tickets were still on sale! I then tried contacting the venue through the event ticket app after the event and I never got a response! Not even so much as a discount voucher. £60 down the drain. I will never go to a concert here again!

Visited for the Ash Concert Summer Sessions - great venue and great atmosphere

Giving it 5 stars only because of the awesome outdoor concerts, this is really needed for young people. The Council cannot do anything if the concert stops before 11pm since your within the legal noise regulation. Please continue to offer this much needed concert venue.

My wife and I had the the pleasure of going to the Copper Tap on Saturday 27th May 2023, On entering the Restaurant we were treated with respect and courtesy. After been served our drinks we were given time to look at the menus and decided to choose the Fine Dinning Menu. This proved to be a great choice and what an experience it was for us both. From the start which was a small wheaten loaf and it was completely out of this world, the remaining five courses just got better. The standard of the food was complemented by the service of the staff through out the evening. It would be very remiss of us both not to mention Zoe, Claire and the barman(apologies did not get his name) for making this night for us a fabulous experience. We would recommend everyone to give the Copper Tap a try. Roley & Jo.
