Really nice Indian with great tasting food. Great service and we keep coming back as it’s the best Indian in the area.

Complete dead on the night we visited. I suspect local people will have known about the extortionate prices. We had a fish dish and a chicken curry with 3 nans. £39.00Thought the fish would be at least fresh, nope, it was a battered fish from a packet and some sauce thrown on it to make it look like a fish dish.To hide the taste they had thrown enough chilli to burn your mouth off. As an Asian who eat chilli every day even I had to ask the waiter if the cook had overdose the dish.I suspect it wasn't halal either as I had asked the receptionist.

This lovely quaint restaurant is a family run restaurant with the owne and his family. They are lovely people and so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble with allergies and the chef has even offered to cook something not even in the menu to accommodate certain allergies. The food is beautiful and bursts with flavours. I've been coming here over twenty years and just love it . Highly recommended for the food but even more for the wonderful family who run it because of the warm welcome you'll receive.

It is always a little concerning when you enter & a place is empty, not even any walk ins for takeaway collection, ordered chicken chat arrived after a few microwave ‘pings’ , tasted as you would expect meat texture hard sliced obviously cold placed into the sauce. The menu states quite clearly that the tandoori is ‘cooked fresh’, hence why was ordered, many microwave ‘pings’ later it arrived dry & fairly awful. Left the meal on the table paid the bill in full, the waitress was not in the least concerned, attend at you peril, I paid the bill in full as times are difficult for the hospitality industry, however I doubt this one will survive.

Very friendly & polite staff. We had a take out of chicken korma & a lamb rogan josh with pilau rice & garlic nan, delicious. I had a cheeky beer while waiting! I wouldn't hesitate to return & sit in. Thank you guys.

Costly but nice food. Hence the 4 stars.

While staff and service are friendly and punctual, my lamb korma takeout was way too sweet for my taste with not much meat (which tasted lovely tho), and my naan was quite greasy. It may well be that this is the authentic bengali style of making korma, but I found it so sweet, i wouldn't finish it.Update 01/2022:My preferred indian in town by now. Best poppadoms, best sauce tray, best spices and dishes across range in Portadown.

What a change in this restaurant from the last time i visited, the food was terrible it had so much lemon in it . The condensation was running down the walls and the mirrors and the place felt very damp and cold and I spent £40 for the pleasure of all this ! The girl who served us was very nice . Wount be back .

This is possibly the worst Indian restaurant for service and quality I've ever been too, the strange thing was a year or so before it used to be good however it has nosedived, prices are very expensive and the food is actually not great.Such a shame this place went up the wall.
