Stopped in during a visit locally and had a lovely breakfast here. Team were very friendly and efficient and the pancake stack can be recommended for sure. Add to that great coffee and what’s not to like.

Busy cafe. Walked in to be shouted instructions at by the waitress, then proceeded to serve the family behind me. Soup is awful - baby food consistency and way too much pepper. I only ordered this after being ignored by the extremely rude staff member. The girl on the hot drinks was helpful. Coffee was good, and the lady on the till was extremely friendly. Won't be back.

Granny asked for a toastie and was told by waiting staff there was, and I quote, "no bread". This cafe is a stone's throw away from Asda, literally. Like, it's probably a good bowl away from Asda. I reckon I could bowl a whole bowling ball into the front entrance of Asda from this cafe. No bread.2 stars because that's actually a hilarious thing to say. No bread.

I've eaten here before and I thought it was ok. Recently I've been diagnosed with coeliac disease and have to adjust my dietary requirements. When I read on the menu "most items on the menu can be made gluten" I thought great. When the waitress came to take my order I asked her if I could have the chicken pita pocket but could they make it gluten free. The waitress then proceeded to tell me that only the chicken curry and the chicken escallop can be made gluten free. I pointed out that this does not mean "most items on the menu can be made gluten free". The waitress just looked at me with a blank stare. And just sat above me until I gave her my order. I asked for the chicken escallops and asked for the garlic's as a side, she then proceeded to tell me that the garlic's would not be gluten free as they would be frying them in oil that has been used for other items and all I could have was mash potatoes. So yeah if you have a gluten intolerance or have coeliac disease your options are chicken curry and chicken escalope.

Perfectly okay but no better than that. The whole place is impregnated with cooking smells so I left smelling like a chip-shop fryer; my clothes had to go straight into the laundry basket when I got home. Their à la carte menu is priced at the high end of reasonable. The serving staff are friendly and efficient.

My husband and I went for breakfast here this morning and were extremely disappointed. I got the French toast and asked for fruit instead of bacon but was told this was not possible. Despite the fact that they had fruit as the person sitting next to me got fruit with their pancakes. French toast was very poor, it was literally 2 slices of bread dipped in egg and fried for £6.70. Honestly, most people would make a lot better breakfast at home. My husband’s wasn’t much better, very plain and not worth the price. The coffee wasn’t up to standard either. It was the worst breakfast I have had in a restaurant. I wish I took a picture to post.

We were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our seat. (that's why it gets one star instead of none) As our order was being taken, I asked about making some changes but was told that the order had been already sent; the waitress was still standing at our table! My wife then asked for a glass of water; after three further requests this was finally delivered. Perhaps I should have kept asking for cutlery; who knows, maybe it would have eventually arrived too! The "toasted" panini was a soggy, heated (not toasted) piece of chewy something which might well have been bread in a previous life. The chicken and bacon filling was tasteless and far from filling! Fortunately, we had ordered a chip to supplement the paninis; unfortunately, the chip didn't arrive until we had asked and asked again about its whereabouts, and long after we had finished the "bread". We were on our return from a few days in Donegal when we made the unfortunate decision to call at Caffe Fresco; might I suggest that the staff here be sent on an emergency course to Donegal to learn about customer service, and perhaps also to learn to cook. The previous reviewer declared "Never Again!!"; I personally feel they were being too generous!!
