“Fantastic bar, friendly staff and customer s. I felt at home straight away. The Boiler Room upstairs where the comedy club was held was intimate and the comedy acts were top class with a huge number of local acts. In recent years I've not had the opportunity to see a lot of comedians and it has usually been in theatres, but this is getting back to grassroots. I'd encourage people to get to a gig in Charlie's Bar.”

“Devices is a lovely clean friendly bar. Since the renovation it's alot bigger leaving plenty of dance room or for the younger crowd to listen to their music while the older generation can enjoy their drinks. There's also a pool table for all generations lol. Why not pop in and enjoy the craic”

“We were made very welcome here! Emily was a ray of sunshine from the moment we arrived until the landlord kindly gave us a lift to the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were given a tour of the pub which is an absolute treasure. We would highly recommend everyone to pay them a visit. Thank you to them both xx”

“Great wee pub and venue room upstairs. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Off license has good variety of drinks available. The girl who made us cocktails upstairs was lovely, as were the cocktails! Will definitely be back and will recommend to others.”
