A chilled out place showing the football. Drinks extremely reasonable and allowed our dog. Felt welcome and would return.

Lovely place with a good small pub atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would come again!

Never any food on a regular basis. Atmosphere not friendly at all & the "child" behind the bar serving could not handle even the smallest of orders.

Decent few pints of Guinness and friendly staff. Can't ask for more than that. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

This is just a great little pub. Great landlord, clean and fresh interior with a good selection of drinks. Their roast dinner on a Sunday is top notch, great quality and even better value for money. All the best sport on also if want to watch while eating or

What an absolute diamond of a place. Staff are so so friendly and eager to do anything they can for you. The atmosphere is great. Sunday lunches are quite possibly one of the best iv had. Can’t pick a single fault. Reasonably priced too. An asset to the village. What more could you ask for. Can’t wait to return

Had Sunday dinner and it was below average and the gravy was full of congealed bits of gravy, told the waitress and her reply was it’s off the juices off the meat! I informed her that I was a chef and that was not the case, I know what I’m talking about after being in the trade for over 30 years! No apologies . My sister in law asked for extra gravy but not lumpy! It came full of lumps it was disgusting, I again asked about the gravy got same reply that that was the way the gravy always was! Told her I thought the meal was not worth £13:95 STILL no apology, wish in hindsight I had just said I’m not paying it, customer service crap, meal crap, Defoe NEVER EVER going back!!,

A decent locals type pub. Clean and spacious with 2 real ales. Big outside area for seats

WHAT a great little pub! VERY dog friendly - dogs allowed outside and in, we went for world cup final (womens) and lovely bacon cob to start the day and the beer was good too - madri, staff very friendly and reasonably priced. This is the only pub in Belford that shows live sports so when newcastle are playing this is where you head to ;-)

As a pub it's too small when the back food area isn't open. It's full of locals. They're not unfriendly, it's just that it's cramped. I wouldn't recommend to travellers/tourists when restaurant is closed. It was too warm too.

The staff were all young, friendly and knew how to pull a good pint. The beer was nice. Dinner was basic pub grub - competent but unexciting. The whole place is dog friendly, including the restaurant area, which also serves as an overflow to the bar after about 9pm - useful if its too crowded or noisy. (On the Friday night we were there, a group of unreconstructed lads who hadn't all heard of political correctness dominated the bar from about 9pm.) Recommended for a decent, basic pub.

The extremely friendly bar staff managed to accommodate a table for dinner for 4 of us at very short notice, despite being extremely busy. They were so eager to help and made sure our evening was a really enjoyable one.
