Just popped in for a pint while walking a friends two dogs . Pub busy as it was a sunny, warm evening. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Large outside area with lots of picnic style tables .

Thank you for providing the upstairs room for my Fathers wake. Paula provided a very efficient bar service, which was enhanced by her friendly personality. She also helped me to rearrange the room to my personal specifications to suit whilst assisting with everything we required throughout the event.Highly recommended.Kindest regardsRobin

The drinks are decently priced compared to some of the other pubs in Cramlington and the atmosphere is very good, this pub is quiet and civilised.

My previous review of this pub was "Most civilised pub in the village". Unfortunately I now need to change this and for one reason alone. The new manager is an abomination. A more crass and common individual you will not find. All her staff seemingly detest her, possibly down to the fact that she is usually drunk at work, that was certainly the impression I had last night. Please SJF, deal with this situation and bring in a competent and civilised manager and return this pubs dignity. Fiona, Jonathan, Andy......... if you're listening please help!
