Quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever eaten. Roast beef, lettuce and gherkin. We were too full for anything else, it was huge. The homemade malted bloomer was sublime.Great dog-friendly area, with treats and water bowls.

Excellent cakes and sandwiches. It’s just a shame about the owners attitude. If they can’t be pleasant with customers they should give up.

Much impressed. After walking on the beach we were starving..spotted this little cafe on the corner. Ordered coffees and sandwiches .. both arrived in no time at all and the ham and pease pudding sandwiches were really delicious.Highly Recommend!

This is excellent. From the home baked bread to the reasonable prices, I like everything about this place.

So disappointed First visit after a recommendation from a friend. Cakes, sandwich , tea and coffee were absolutely beautiful. Not overly big portions but not overly pricey either. All good so far. ………the gentleman( owner? ) who served us was so unfriendly, no smile , no ‘ good afternoon’ - absolutely no custom service at all. I can’t understand this at all. Will probably go back and give them another go - but if I receive the same terrible service, I wouldn’t return. Not wanting to spoil the visit , I didn’t mention my disappointment to my family. As soon as we stepped outside my adult son verbalised my thoughts.

Spectacular little café in Red Row. The scone and coffee I had were great and the sandwiches and cakes looked lovely too. Definitely worth a visit.Pro tip 1: it can get busy, so be prepared to queue for a bit if you're unlucky with your timings. It's worth waiting, though.Pro tip 2: there is some parking opposite the café.Pro tip 3: they have a contactless card machine, so cash isn't a necessity.Pro tip 4: the sandwiches looked great, but that was as far as it went on the menu for savoury options. It's more of a coffee and cake establishment rather than a full-on lunch extravaganza. This isn't a downside, just a 'be aware'.Parking: Opposite the café.
