We have been to this cafe several times and never been disappointed with the food. They have a wide choice of delicious scones, cakes and sandwiches which are reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful. Waiting times for food are short and the whole premises is nice and clean.I've read previous reviews about the coffee and yes, it doesn't blow your socks off but I have been served worse and been charged more for the privilege.Overall, I thoroughly recommend this cafe.

It's a lovely, quaint little cafe that's always got a happy atmosphere.A great place to chat with friends over a delicious coffee and a scone and has a varied selection of sandwiches, salads, cakes and scones, etc, which are all served beautifully by friendly and efficient staff.

Great coffee and home baked cake selection. Loved that the 2 of us could share 4 half cake portions so we had a chance to try more of the yummy options. Friendly, prompt service and very reasonably priced. Thank you.

Nice small and cosy cafe with a large range of lunch options and some awesome fresh-baked cake. Pleasant service and reasonable prices too. You won't struggle to find coffee & cake cafes in Morpeth (or indeed anywhere in the North East), but make a beeline for this one - the cakes are to die for!

We placed our order for drinks & a cheese & thyme scone & a slice of lemon & lime cake. Our drinks arrived about 10 minutes after we ordered. The food another 30 minutes later. The scone didn't have much taste & the cake was dry.

A lovely & unique cafe in the centre of Morpeth, delicious scones & cakes. I also love the choice of seating areas. Just like being on the Riviera and lovely staff, very friendly. I live on the riverbank in North Shields, but it's so worth the journey to Morpeth to visit the this pretty cafe.Patrica.

Our favourite cafe in Morpeth...always good food and pleasant staff

With a name such as this you would expect French quality, however was very disappointed with the coffee here. The scone was excellent but don't go if you're expecting real coffee. The menu says that it is award winning artisanal coffee but it still tastes like standard filter. Our first cups were watery and then were provided with a second cup which was marginally stronger. Food looked good and staff were nice and friendly - just let down by the coffee.

Coffee tasted like Nescafe instant. Very poor. Staff friendly. Scone good.

Lovely to sit in the garden on a sunny morning for coffee and breakfast. Excellent cheese scone, and cheesy muffin consumed. Looked like plenty of regulars there. Friendly staff.

Charles is amazing. As is Geoffrey the manager.. This restaurant is based on personalities. The menu needs to be improved and the workload.Vegetarian options: Could be better
