Called in for a coffee, ended up having sandwiches & cake. We went back on our last day for breakfast. Lovely and friendly, fresh, hot and delicious. The dogs even got treats. Cannot give enough praise. A must visit if in the area. Thank

Our 5th visit to an enchanting tea room. Great food a good range of drinks and fabulous staff. Always feel welcome with our dog and a grand chat this time with the chef. We will return ?

Excellent little cafe on the main street. I can certainly vouch for the scones which were delicious. A good cuppa too. Staff very friendly, nothing a bother, reasonable prices.

I would've given 5 stars but there is room for improvement and I will explain why in my review. I was asked was everything alright when I was paying for the food, this was a bit late because good practice is to ask the customer within 5 minutes or shortly after serving the food to make sure everything is ok and put anything right if the customer isn't happy with something. I rated 3 stars for atmosphere because the although the service was good and good arrived in a timely manner and it was of good produce , I should've spoken up and said the food was fine but you are alienating a lot of customers by saying the special offer breakfast is meant for one person and not to be shared. I'm sure most people would agree that in today's economic situation, going to a coffee shop is a luxury and mainly those with an available income can afford to go everyday. The customers were mainly local people, the elderly and tourists, therefore , passing trade in winter months to a business like yours should be welcomed and if a customer like me wants to share the contents of their breakfast with another person for whatever the reason whether it's because of financial restrictions, health reasons or having a smaller appetite ,this should not be frowned upon or looked down on as I could potentially be a returning customer and reviews can make or break a business these days so all custom should be welcomed. I might of spent more money yesterday because the cakes looked amazing, but I felt because I was made to feel uncomfortable, I didn't want to spend more than I already had. I hope you will take on board my comments because they are valid and next time I'm in Amble I won't be made to feel awkward if I want to share my food with whoever I'm with ?

I ordered drinks and food but I was told very quickly that the food would be delayed and the staff checked if I was happy to wait. I really appreciate that I was given the choose rather than left waiting.

We enjoyed our return visit just as much as the first. Everything was superb, particularly the sugar free, hot chocolate. For me it was the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. I find the hot chocolate most places use is far too sweet, but this was delicious and I could actually taste the chocolate. Mmmm, my mouth is starting to water just by writing this review. I wish we lived nearer as I would be coming in every day. For those who prefer coffee, my three companions enjoyed theirs very much too.

What a beautiful, quaint place to be. My second time visiting, having breakfast this time. Absolutely wonderful quality food and service and the hot chocolate from my first visit was delicious too! They serve an array of delightful hot/cold drinks and plenty of food options for grown ups and kiddies too. Afternoon tea is also served and there is also a little gift shop corner and the walls arw adorned with local art too, all for sale. And the most important thing for us was that it was dog friendly and the staff even gave her a little treat to make her feel welcome. We loved it there, I highly recommend a visit for a drink or food or cake or everything all at once! It's fab! ?Vegetarian options: Beautiful breakfast and great options too.

Dull wet day when we visited. Aircon system was being fitted so unfortunately no hot food, no problem because what we were offered was excellent, ie sandwiches hot drinks etc, along with profuse apologies for no hot food. We had my daughters dog with us and she was fussed and given treats by the staff. Friendly lovely people run this tea rooms. Call in you won't be disappointed.
