We went for the santa paws experience. Where you take your pet to see santa. Our little boy is getting old now and it was a magical moment to treasure for us all. It is a huge garden centre and has lots to choose from but the prices are on the steep end. We thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my daughter and cody

We visited Dobbies for the first time today and went to Santas Grotto. There was plenty of parking but there was no signage for where to go for the grotto and after walking around a while we ended up asking staff. Some of which weren’t very helpful and could have explained a bit clearer. It turned out the Santa experience was right at the other end of the centre near the restaurant which wasn’t clear at all. The experience itself was ok and the elf was lovely at the start but some of the activities were broken (duck activity had a broken rod). Luckily my son was more than happy playing with the crayons to care. Santa was also lovely and talked to my son for quite a while. We then went to the restaurant where the food was over priced and not to our taste. The scones were very salty and the chips overcooked. We went over to the softplay as we’d heard it was good but we couldn’t see where to go to get a wristband. It just said that you need one before entering. We decided to call it a day as we found it very stressful especially with a toddler to entertain. The garden centre itself is big and had a variety of different things. We can’t really comment on it though as we mainly went for the Santa experience and softplay. Id recommend that there is more signage for the Santa experience maybe something from the entrance to direct people. Also, the softplay should have signage to say where to get wristbands from. We had such a disappointing experience we probably won’t go back.

A great place to go for a Potter!Their plants are always in great condition. Good food at the cafe too.

Busy busy garden centre, good accessibility & plenty parking. Good for Christmas shopping in the smaller shops inside as well as main garden centre

Bad experience! Worst Christmas lunch I've ever tasted. Tasteless and not worth the price we both paid. Pleased we got our money back.Turkey roll and frozen Brussel Sprouts no thankyou

Went to get a bite to eat only wanted a sandwich! Only to find they stop serving at 3pm literally on the dot! Very disappointed! Caramel Latte was like dish water ended up with a bag of crisps!

Good solid garden centre.Knowledgable staff, usually lots of plants on offer. The usual other retail outlets, Pavers, Weird Fish, etc.Reasonable cafe, as long as you're not expecting anything 'fancy'.Toddlers play space quite popular.

Standard garden centre but it also has a toy shop section to keep the kids entertained. Two cafes. A separate shopping centre with the works, weird fish and a shoe shop within. Soft play and Dinosaur mini golf (additional costs but reasonable prices). Dobbies membership card is good value. There is an attached Waitrose and a fruit and veg stall.

Fleeting coffee stop. Slow service but pleasant staff. Thought coffee was weak and over priced. Store was in the throws of preparing for Christmas so only had a quick look at the displays that were finished. The plant displays were as usual, lovely.

Store is just looking a bit tired these days, garden area outside was a bit of a shambles with hoses trailing across footpaths and generally decrepit greenhouse area. The dinosaur mini golf has seen better days, but on a positive its still a good place for a browse often decently priced, and a good range of garden items along with housing and present style items, the supermarket area has a good stock of Hotel Chocolat etc, the whole place is just in need of a bit of TLC but the staff are super helpful.

Called in on the way back from Scotland for tea, staff were very pleasant and a special area for us and dogs. Signage for toilets are confusing .Good disabled ♿ parking. There is also a restaurant here.

We only stopped for a quick sandwich but then saw a few interesting things. We bought a plant for a gift but the one we selected had no price tag. The cashier checked and then tried to charge £5 more.

I always like going there. However, on this occasion, went into cafe and every table that wasn't occupied was full of the previous occupants dishes. Staff were in no hurry to clear them and not a sufficient space for customers to return their used items.

It sure has everything here; more than we expected when we happened to just stop off here for a brew! Including, in addition to the fact it's a garden centre, a clothes shop, shoe shop, the works outlet, etc. Yeah, weird. And a mini golf dinosaur experience, that is a touch expensive. Your kids are drawn to the huge dinosaurs they can see and hear, but then you have to pay to play mini golf to go see them - naughty. Also, it feels like you walk about 15 miles to get to the restaurant, including soft play, like they've tried to hide it at the back corner of the premises. The restaurant was chaotic during our visit, with a lack of staff manning any of the stations, and lots of time spent trying to get food and then pay. Actually the food was OK when you finally made it to a table. Lots of parking and facilities are good.
