Food lovely. Just a bit of a pain if you don't have a credit card. Staff fab too.

Shelves always half empty, in the shop Cafe food is good but the service is poor Tables had number cards left on them from previous customers so didn’t know which tables were not being used. Slow service and abrupt lady when informed her the coffee machine was empty. Never any napkins, always have to ask for cutlery and condiments as there always empty.

Once again, fans blowing cold air onto the seating area in the cafe...eat quickly before your food gets cold. When asked told curtly by a member of staff that there were no napkins but there might kitchen roll but then did not look for any or provide any. A much more helpful lad got a roll for us immediately when we asked later. Some of the tables and floor area had food scattered around, no one going around cleaning or clearing tables. Never seem to have the same issues at Blyth or Killingworth.

What an untidy store. Disabled and vision impaired. Boxes everywhere. Just empty them fold them and put them in a cage. Not- empty them and throw them anywhere. Has the opportunity to be a great store but they don't do the simple things well.

Shocking food, disgusting. Felt sorry for staff member trying to do everything on her own. Not fair on staff or customers to run this place on a shoestring. Loads of things unavailable no cutlery coffee machine haywire and filthy. Cutting corners just makes it worse.

The food is standard Morrisons cafe, but some of the staff are very rude. They could do with going on a customer service corse. My daughter was told she couldn’t drink a bottle of pop bought from the store while we all ate food, but one of the store managers was swanning round drinking a costa coffee. Double standards.

The quality of food was shocking. We ordered two breakfasts which state all day breakfasts however the bacon tasted brittle and the quantity of beans, toast and chips was sparse.Avoid at all costs, the standard has really fallen which is such a shame. Furthermore, there was water/spillage by the self service drinks that was not cleaned and the section had not been cornered off irrespective of cafe staff being 'present'.

Sent my review directly to their restaurant regarding my complaint. I only received 1 piece of bacon in my sausage and bacon sandwich they took it of my wife's sandwich to correct the order. I am not amused Jag

The food was lovely but the service was diabolical. Self service was very confusing and standard items you would expect to be served with food like cutlery, napkins or condiments were all missing. About the only thing I didn't have to do was cook the food.

went in the cafe and asked for poached eggs with toast , was told that they didn't have any poached eggs but they can do fried eggs ... absolutely true .....

Visited for a “quick” breakfast before heading away for the weekend. Used to visit often but had not been for a while, had to pick up some groceries so thought we would nip in for a quick bacon roll & coffee. Used the in house order point, selected a table that I thought was free however a customer in the queue had taken that table so moved again to another table, very confusing, the old system was far superior. Cafe was not that busy however there were a lot of dirty tables, two members of staff on, the service was abysmal 45 mins for two bacon rolls and two coffee’s no direction of where to get your cups, had to queue just to ask staff, who were not very friendly. Once the food arrived there was no apology at all, and the bacon was served in a ciabatta roll !!!! Never seen anything so strange in all my time, a bacon roll should be served on a morning roll not a dried out ciabbata roll, that was as hard as a rock. Customers who had ordered two breakfasts before us were only given there’s as we were leaving and again no apology to those customers, surely things are pre cooked and kept hot …. Yet it takes 1 hour to service breakfasts. The shop also had no bags like not a single carrier bag, not a single bag for life, nothing … bizarre watching old ladies juggling groceries out to the car, with no staff in sight to help and no signs up warning customers that there was ZERO bag stock, yes most people will have a bag for life but not everyone remembers. Overall a very poor experience, over £10 for the worst bacon rolls I have ever tasted wish I had sent them back and got a refund, not worth waiting 45 mins, if we had more time we would have used one of the local cafe’s or bistro’s

Stood ages with my Grandkids with packed lunches to find they had no sandwiches or crisps to put in them. They didn’t even offer to make me them. No chicken nuggets or fish either. Not good!

Come on Morrisons get your selves sorted. Visited the Berwick-upon-Tweed and the Morpeth stores for breakfast. The poor staff were run off their feet . The cutlery wasn't clean at Berwick and the food was cold and dried out , the young lady on the counter was trying to fill the coffee machine serve the customers at the till, clean the tables and serve the food , all by herself , no wonder the food was cold , couldn't fault the staff though, again at Morpeth today waited 25 minutes for our breakfast , there were only six customers in , but the young lady was rushing around with takeaway orders she didn't have time to bring out our food which sat on the hot plate for 10 mins , although when they did manage to serve us they had replaced the food with fresh items ,I watched them do this although i hadn't complained so well done for that . The food was delicious . The young lady was very apologetic and I asked if they and Berwick were short staffed and was told Morrisons were taking on more staff shortly. The standards have definitely dropped through no fault of the staff, who were stressed and rushed off their feet . Get the managers out of their offices and give them hand or listen the customers feed back . Pat on the back to the staff on the front line .
