The food was absolutely delicious, service was fantastic. Best Indians we’ve ever had. Naan bread was incredibly light and fluffy. The waiter even gave us a Cobra glass to go with our collection! Would highly recommend.

Had such a lovely night with friends. The staff couldn't have done more. We tried a selection of the new dishes just introduced for 2024 and were seriously impressed.This is our new favourite restaurant for sure.

We visited our local Indian restaurant this evening to find some new little gems on the menu , these definitely did not disappoint, Shake Karim the owner always welcomes us open armed . Amble being a seaside resort, the winter months are somewhat quiet, we feel it’s important to support our local restaurants at this time, so here goes our starter was Shahi Machili a salmon dish spiced and served with fried onions , our mains were a new chicken dish Malai Tikka , simply marinated with yoghurt fresh cream, garlic and ginger with a hint of lemon giving it a refreshing taste, our other new main course was the Sara style cod fish , Cod Jhal Jull , a combination of special blended spices and crushed chillies creating a medium to hot taste , we chose a garlic rice and garlic naan to accompany, 5 star quality with great service, I would highly recommend locals as well as tourists to try the gem of a restaurant.

Wanted a takeaway on New Year’s Day and this restaurant provided a lovely Indian meal for four. Very reasonable on price and worth the drive from Longhoughton. Recommended.

Popped in for dinner with my partner as we like Indian food and the reviews were good. Well, OMG we were not disappointed. Food was absolutely amazing. Everything was spot on. Naan’s fresh and doughy, curry was flavoursome and not greasy. Everything tasted amazing. I’ve eaten in Indians all over the Country and this one is up there with the best anywhere.
After a disaster last year at a local pub we decided to give Taj a try and what a treat it was! Food was excellent, fresh and tasty. We weren't rushed and staff were above and beyond attentive and professional. Amazing value (too cheap was our families opinion) thank you so much for an amazing Christmas dinner ?❤️

We are regulars here as the food is the best in amble, always prompt service, easy to order, the food has so much flavour, it always our go to if we are having a takeaway! Well worth it

We decided to eat out on Christmas Day as a family and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Friendly staff, well organised and the food was perfect!No where near as expensive as some other local establishments were charging per head for sub standard/frozen food!Thank you for a lovely meal!
