Lovely little place with fantastic beer choices and lots of friendly dogs. Bar tiny but lovely friendly staff. Head upstairs for free dominoes and culture.

Fantastic micropub! Great beers, great people, great atmosphere, and great prices! The best pub by far for miles! Andrea is exactly the sort of person you need to run a pub like this: dedicated to the quality of the beer and customer service. Discovered this place on Saturday; they had a perfectly kept Two by Two, which won me over immediately! Cannot recommend this little jewel highly enough. Will be back, with friends, as soon as possible.

Just returned from a weekend in Morpeth, watching all the rugby league games in Newcastle. We had several magical visits to The Office during our stay. Andrea is just such an amazing host and a walking Tourist Information Centre with recommendations for everything to do in the area. The wall is decorated in awards that it has won. It's only small inside but a lovely courtyard and some comfy seating upstairs. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

So lucky that this brilliant pub was 30 seconds from our front door when we holidayed in Morpeth. Andrea the landlady, Sue, Ian and all of the other customers were really friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome, Great range of real ales very well kept. Nice bar snacks on a Friday too! Best pub in Morpeth and multi award winning Camra pub of the year for the whole area. I just wish I had a pub like this near to where I live.

When we first walked in it felt quite intimidating as it was very small and we felt like we were 'outsiders' walking into a locals bar. Quickly we were chatting to the lady behind the bar and several of the locals which eased the tension straight away. We only had a couple of drinks but thoroughly enjoyed it despite our initial thoughts. Would definitely recommend this teeny tiny bar!

Quaint charming enclave. Memories of El Cid my Alma mater in Charleston South Carolina: this pub is surprisingly the shape of an alcove in the resident hall no pun intended! Welcomed warmly as a traveler speaking a Southern US accent lol.

Good beers, friendly staff, good company. What more do you need?I like to think that this wee pub epitomises what 'The Great British Pub ' is all about! Love it!

The person served us while she was on the phone to someone with headphones on. She didn’t hear our order because of this. We ordered Guinness and quite frankly, it was criminal. It came out of a can, and she attempted to use the surge machine, couldn’t work out how to use it and ended up leaving it. Luckily the interaction wasn’t too long though, we didn’t want to interrupt her phone call. It was the worst service I’ve ever received and the worst pint ever. The pub is really nice but the staff are the worst I’ve ever seen.

Perhaps I visited at ‘only locals’ time of day. Nice beer. But, not welcoming as a visitor. Won’t rush back. And as a fan of micro pubs I am surprised that I am writing that. Shame.
