“tried Devalal Tandoori on two consecutive days. The lamb biryani yesterday and the chicken biryani today were absolutely delicious – rich, authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
However, there were a couple of downsides:
• The vegetable curry was far too oily.
• The chicken biryani was listed at £8.95, but I was charged £9.65 because I asked for it to be spicy. This pricing wasn’t clearly mentioned and felt a bit misleading.
Overall, the food is excellent, but I hope they improve pricing transparency and reduce excess oil in some dishes.”
