Having got sick of all the hassle and stress of making Christmas Dinner each year - my family opted to use Jillys Homebake for our Christmas Dinner. On Christmas eve we collected our dinners and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. On Christmas day all we had to do was reheat our dinners and the gravy provided. The team had even gone through the trouble of labelling everything to accommodate the vegetarian in our group. Everything was beautiful and soon tasty. We honestly cannot recommend enough! Thank you so much for making our Christmas dinner seamless and stress free for our family.

Where to start.. No warning for the gravy if it has meat or not in, luckily I didn’t put it on my plate and I’d asked about it. Sat eating my food, all ceilings were dripping condensation onto my plate and drink, myself (family members were also saying the same) it’s far to hot in there to enjoy your meal without getting dripped on or you getting some of there special sauce of the ceilings into your food also ? Asked for some mash for my 1 year old and the young girl seemed to have such a problem with it, someone came out from the back who’d beard her and told her to stop and to give the bairn some. It was an absolute joke of an experience

First time we've ever had a Sunday Lunch delivered and it didn't disappoint! Delivered on a proper dinner plate wrapped in foil which kept everything in good order! Piled high with generous portions of fresh veg and perfectly cooked meats, so much so that there's some left over for tomorrow! This won't be the last time we order from here, I'm sure! Compliments to Jilly!

We booked in for Sunday lunch as heard the food was amazing. They did not disappoint, the staff are super friendly and helpful with a great atmosphere and the food is just outstanding, everything made from scratch and perfect. Homemade cakes and cheesecakes with lots of flavours to choose from, you are spoilt for choice here. Highly recommend but I would book ahead to avoid disappointment. They have a delivery and take away too.

Ordered a Sunday lunch through their website. They certainly did not disappoint, you can tell it's proper homemade grub. Portion size is huge and it tastes absolutely amazing. Best Sunday lunch I've had for ages.

Jilly’s Homebake catered my Dad’s 60th last night and OMG the food was amazing. There was not a single person at the party didn’t comment on how nice the food was, and ask for the name of the caterer. There was an absolute tonne of food and we definitely couldn’t complain for the price. We had chicken curry, chilli, rice, 5 flavours of sandwich, pies, quiche, sausage rolls, cocktail sticks, sweet chilli wraps, you name it. Have added a few pics but they’re not the best pics and don’t do the food justice. Honestly could not recommend her more And while we’re on the subject ….. the carveries are absolutely divine in the Rose Inn too!

What can you say. I don't think any one complains about the food it's well cooked hot and plenty of it and gravy yummy. If you haven't been there try it you won't be disappointed.

I use Jillys regularly on a Sunday for roast dinners. I live around the corner so I pop in with my plate. Always amazing quality food. I've used Jillys for party buffet too and that was amazing!! 100% recommend. Lovely staff too.

First and last time yesterday ordering from this place! It was only 2 dinners and one piece of cake for my daughter and they couldn't even get that right. When I placed the order they rang me to say it'll be well over an hour due to traffic which was absolutely fine its out of their control. When the dinners arrived they were a mass of mess, items just piled on top of each other and the gravy had spilt all over and no cake! I rang them they said they'd contact the driver she must of give it to someone else. She said she'd ring me back but didn't. I rang again and was made to feel I was disturbing them. She said the cake was left in the car and would send it when they can. By the time it arrived the driver may as well of threw it at me! No apology just shoved in my hand with a filthy look and walked away! This was their fault not mine! Appalling customer service, behaviour and over all service. Very disappointed and won't be using you again!

Absolutely beautiful food you can smell the meat cooking as soon as you walk in which makes you 10 times more hungry, staff always go that extra mile and puddings to die for, keep up the good work 10 out of 10 every time.

Open belching and non-hand-covered coughing. Profuse sweating from the server who wasn't wearing gloves. A whiff of bodily odour all around. I hate to be so harsh on such an earnest down to earth place but it made us yearn for the chain pub! In short, don't believe the hype about this place like we did when reading many of the 5-star reviews. Someone burped very loudly and rather than apologise or feint embarrassment just went on to loudly exclaim how everyone does it and the age old, "better out than in". Or the person who after being told that there was no more turkey, said that they were not picky and would have the scraps!Long queues, and slow service aside (there was only ever one server and when someone had brought their own plate from home for a takeaway , the single server would wrap their plate in tin foil and then cling film whilst the queue just watched on), the food was poor too. For a carvery, the roast potatoes were limited and when someone brought out a "fresh" batch of stuffing, it looked like leftover scraps. And then there was chicken lying in the broccoli tray. It was dismal.
