“My young grandson and I visited for a drink to cool us down where we could sit outside.

It was the middle of the afternoon so pub was virtually empty. This is only reason for lowish score for atmosphere. To be honest, I was glad it was quite empty as it was an extremely hot day and would have been uncomfortable in a crowded place.

Staff were very friendly and opened up doors to outside seating just for us.

As I was driving I had a non-alcoholic cider and my grandson had a cola, so they made very little money from us, yet we were still treated as a valued customer.”
